Uhh - you currently only get to have one character per service account on leaderboard Top 100/300, so this is sort of irrelevant, no...? Could make this an argument about past rewards, but I'd argue they should've had that change back then already.

You can have fresh alts on other regions' T100 leaderboards. You can also have multiple alts on the same leaderboard, but the one with the highest peak will show up.

Top 100 rewards can not be account-wide because your character's ranked MMR is not account-wide.

I don't see what difference that would make. You earn the armor, they apply it to your account.
It's absurd thinking about all of these sets that exist just to collect dust because the players that won them don't even have the ability to use them on whichever character they now play on. I can probably count on one hand the amount of top 100 players I've seen since the entire concept was introduced, and it's absolutely correlated to this oversight that has somehow persisted for 10 years.

I have a legacy character myself, and I know that it’s still possible to transfer, change names, or even change races.
So, what exactly are you trying to achieve here?
Honestly, if I had a character with a unique legacy item—like my FF11 Miquote with the Ballista Cap—I wouldn’t stop playing that character.
