I wait all day to get into a run for FT. Start the run, and during the first boss, I had a quick DC. I logged back in and was kicked from the instance.
Why would it be designed this way?

if you return within 10min, i.e. quickly, you don't get kicked out of the instance
Midcore is when you take a look at an Ultimate, nod along sagely to a guide and decide to do it when you get 12 months of uninterrupted vacation, which is to say: never.
It's character building, good discipline for the mind.
Because it has to log your character out, then log you back in, then push you back into the instance - and if you're dead and haven't done anything in 10m, then it's kicking you out so you aren't just AFKing inside an instance for 3h with your timer ticking, even in Forked Tower.
You deleveled because you probably died during the DC. Even still, it sucks. The best you can do is try again.
tbf why does it delvl you at all? its one thing on the open map. (even though it feels more like its there so people can get their ress achievement xD)
but in the instance someone elses mistake can kill everybody?
as a hindrance to reach maxlvl? ok. but i dont think it does make a lot of sense once you are max lvl
without fun jobs none of the content is fun
