Yeah this is a hard pass for me. I'm not crazy about the outfit at all (we have similar and better in-game already), but even if I was the price to get the whole set is absolutely outrageous. I hope no one buys it and the idea tanks.

Even if you look at it this way, that's still a price increase from 17,50€ to 18,72€ for no reason other than milking.Aren't that actually two sets? Two sets each with different chest, leg and foot pieces and both use the same arm and head piece. So if you want one set, you pay 18.72 €. And if you also want the other set as well, you even only have to pay 13.50 € instead of 18.72 € again.
Edit: Actually it's a price increase from 13,50€ to 18,72€ for a SINGLE outfit with hat and gloves. How is that ok? lol

All that money and you couldn't include the hats and gloves? Im sorry that Square Enix doesnt feed the ffxiv devs but this is shameless daylight robbery. I would be willing to give them more money (on top of that nice sub we pay monthly) if it went to the game devs instead of SE pockets to give to other projects
The team doing this on the cusp of revealing they don't have the ability/funds to make Forked Tower (Normal) is laughable. Like "Hey if you guys buy this stuff maybe we can afford it! Teehee".
Obviously not as the cost is clearly also manpower, time and all that stupidity that they like to use. What an absolute joke. I've seen some people say that Yoshi-P has no control over what the prices are for the Cash Shop but I won't be buying that kind of PR Excuse from them after all these years. Go ahead and exploit us, team, that's cool. I'm going to assume all the funds from these are used to buy outfits for the Live Letters or another custom outfit for YoshiP.
They could have imported game devs from overseas and fund them japanese language courses at this point. It's a billion dollar company. There is absolutely no reason why Furk Tower Normal doesn't exist. Especially if cash grabs get more and more expensive.
You guys with low impulse control keep buying I wanna see the prices go up even more tbth.
SE, Yoshida and team can't fund FF16, FF tactics and FF7R without your help.
It's not misinformation, this is disgusting and predatory when both the Street and Leisurewear come with alternate versions of their tops/bottoms and they still cost $22 total, this is SE ripping us off.No, they are different outfits. The shirt, pants, and shoes are similar but different. That is why I don't bundle them together. Also if you're going to bundle them together, the price tag is $42, not $40. 18+18+6.
Cropped: open-back harness top, slops, loafers
Trousers: harness top, trousers, boots
Like I get that we like to rage on SE for this kind of stuff, I don't disagree with it, but providing misinformation just makes the outrage look like a bunch of misguided and uninformed customers.

Coming here for my rare forum appearance to add my voice to this thread, as apparently sometimes the official forums are the only feedback that is ever even considered.
I rarely ever buy items off the Mogstation, the occasional outfit or emote ver the years, but most of the newer 'streetwear' designs, clunky mounts, and overblown emotes didn't appeal to me. I was actually very much looking forward to a more sleek, minimalist outfit like this ever since it was revealed on the KR stream. Imagine my utter dissapointment when I saw this chopped up piecemeal into not two but THREE separate purchases at a whopping total of $42 for the entire collection.
Someone else mentioned this somewhere, but Dawntrail, the entire EXPANSION is only $39.99. These 8 pieces with a 3 piece variation are more expensive than an entire game expansion. Let that sink in for perspective.
Not even the the more 'premium' sets have any consistency at this point either:
The streetwear set has 6 items for $22, The Azeyma set has 6 items for $18, some are even only 5 items for $22 (Leisurewear, Fat Cat).
I'm a legacy player, I supported the team by subbing during 1.0 and giving them my goodwill, and I have not let my sub lapse once in almost 15 years now in total. As excited as I was for the first mogstation set in a long while, I will not be buying any part of this until they get the message and something changes.
You can do better, Square.
As someone said it, this the perfect image of the game itself today. Bland, uninspiring, dragging itself in the mud for a couple bucks.
What a sad end for what was once (a long time ago) amazing
I don't think it's uninspiring, people already came up with a bunch of good glams. It's good stuff you can combine in different ways. If it just wasn't for the price tag.
