What do we think about the new Belt-leather attire?

Hello friends! The new cash shop outfit finally arrived. We've been waiting for this, haven't we? Now, they finally listened to us and they are splitting up the items so that we don't have to buy items we won't use, so that you don't have to pay us mu-



No wait... if I want the full set, it's not just 17,50€ like Leisurewear or Street attire.
We are now at 32,22€.

One step forward, two steps back I suppose.

I've been wanting them to separate items for a long time since I found I only really use one or 2 items from most of the sets I eventually got. But if they're going to have part of the set cost near the same amount as the full set, and don't have the option to pay the old price if you buy in bulk, then this is a new low for Squares monetization practices in this game.

Also the sets don't even look all that great; we already have similar in-game items. Unless someone really, really wants a belt on their beret for some unknown reason. I'd like the top more if it was a plain turtleneck without the belts, and even then it wouldn't be worth the price.

So now you don't even get a full outfit for 18 dollars like all the others, you have to pay 6 more dollars just for the gloves and hat. And then if you want both pants and cropped pants, it's another 18 dollars.

But if this increase in mogstore prices means they can get the funds for Forked Tower: Normal, that's a price I'm willing to (let others) pay. /s

Yeah I had the feeling that them making G'raha Tia's outfit different things to buy to complete a set would open a can of worms and lead to something like this
However I had thought it'd stick to the NPC outfits, which is equally as bad, but still

If this is how they are going with the mogstation going forward, I'd like if they would at least add a bundle containing the items at a reduced price for buying the whole set so that way people that want individual items can get them and those who want the full set can get it for cheaper

I do have to wonder though at what point will it end

Splitting up armor - hair - weapons has been done since almost the start in Heaven's Ward. Think the only time they didn't do this was the Far Eastern Attire, and that's most likely since it was based on a real life promotional event, and Aymeric's hair in his attire set.
But it is the first time they've split it up like this.

And it will only stop if they see a sharp, sudden drop in mogstation sales.

Next part will most likely be accesories like rings and earrings.

Well, you got your separated pieces alright everyone!!
Except the price is still $20 with parts of the set missing, and then you have to pay extra to get the other parts-so if you want the full set, now you're paying more than you would have before. and the parts separated from the main set aren't even a good deal either. Not to mention, this looks exactly the same as the Bouncer set, just with belts in different places. The gloves are the Appointed gloves from Ameliance deliveries, but if you want the hat, then you have to pay for the gloves too-thus, making the whole 'separation' thing pointless, because you're still stuck buying another part you don't even want anyway.

It started with the wigs, and now its the hats and gloves, and soon enough even buying the shoes will be lumped together awkwardly apart with something else-shoes and glasses. FFXIV will cost you more money, but quality will not yet raise. You need to buy FF16 and preorder FF7 remake part 32!!! -Not because that will fix anything either, it wont, but please do it anyway. Enjoy.

Price topic aside, I understand the decision to separate hats and gloves to avoid buying duplicated items, but I'd personally prefer that all the pieces were sold individually so you can buy just the ones you want, and a coffer option with the full set for a reduced price. I would have bought the Cropped Slops in a heartbeat but I don't really want the other pieces, so I'm holding off until it's on sale.

I think separating hairstyles and weapons from outfits was a nice step on the good direction. I'd understand if NPC outfits are sold as a set only as those are full costumes, but I think they'll benefit more from selling pieces individually.

Since I don't buy stuff from the cash shop, I don't care.
If they made glamours account wide, I would be more inclined to spent some money, but for a single character? Hells no.
