    My Feisty Little Chocobo Quest Bug

    1. I have opened a ticket in game but am not getting any help. I have an another character that I have my choco companion on that worked fine years ago. This is an old legacy character and i have my grand company companion named Kane but i can't summon it. There is no chocobo issuance in the storm quartermaster shop to buy but the game did show my next job class quest as my feisty chocobo and it was on the map, yet Doucette didn't actually have the ! above her in game and she wouldn't give me the quest. (now i have played on and have another quest there and it isn't showing in game anymore) but I still cannot get this quest to get my grand company chocobo and companion. I came back to game and paid money and now the game is glitched and I can't play with my companion. Please help

    For the "My Feisty Little Chocobo (Maelstrom)" quest chain, the prerequisites are:
    1. Level 30 character at minimum
    2. Be a member of the Maelstrom Grand Company
    3. Completed Till Sea Swallows All MSQ
    4. Obtained Storm Chocobo Issuance and Completed My Little Chocobo (Maelstrom) quest, getting and using the Chocobo Whistle for the Company Chocobo mount (Using the Chocobo Whistle item is the important step, as it adds the Company Chocobo to your mount list and unlocks the last lock on unlocking My Feisty Little Chocobo quest availability)
    I suspect your issue is step 4 above, as according your your character's Lodestone profile - https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes...1340026/mount/ - you do not have a "Company Chocobo" in your mounts list.
    So you will need to fully complete - https://ffxiv.consolegameswiki.com/w...bo_(Maelstrom) - and use the Chocobo Whistle from your inventory.
    Once you use it, it is "consumed", and then the mount appears in your Mounts menu.

    Other mounts such as your Legacy Chocobo or Fat Chocobo do not count as a Company Chocobo for the above quests.
    If in the past you did complete the My Little Chocobo (Maelstrom) quest, but then "discarded" the Chocobo Whistle before using it, then visit any Calamity Salvager NPC to recover it.
    Otherwise, double check your inventory or other storage locations for the Chocobo Whistle and then use it.

    Also, in your screen shot, you have the "Traveler" flag on your on your character name.
    I'm not 100% sure if it matters, but try looking for quests on your home world/server in case that quest happens to be restricted to your character's home.

    Thank you!! Not sure if I didn't use the whistle way back then or what, but i tried the salvager on the visiting server and there was nothing there but when i went back home it was. Got whistle and on to getting my choco! Thanks for the help!

    Yes, calamity salvager is usually of help for legacy character issues like this. That NPC was made in anticipation of such issues after the re-release.
