With respect, was this ever confirmed as female highlander? To me, she could just as easily be a Roeg. (I can't read Japanese. Maybe that says Highlander, but idk.)

We've seen a bunch of male miq'ote concept art and models, and we already had Merlwyb for the female Roegadyns (and more recently the RSE concept). But what about the female highlanders?

Were they forgotten? Or even removed from plans? :/

Hori Crap, I had no idea Merlwyb is a female roegadyn. That is pretty cool! I always thought she was some kind of manly elezen or something.

I wonder, can Male Highlander mate with female Roegadyn? If they can, then that's fine. But I think giving us mate options of midlander female only seems a bit limited since everyone else has their gender counterparts.

I get the feeling that they are just going to wrap all the sub-race options into the main char design.

We certainly can still make a 'Highlander', or 'Dunesfolk' due to the options, but it's possible they won't have that name in 2.0

Then again, I could be wrong...
