    Recruiting a friend to cactuar

    A friend of mine is installing the game right now and I'm trying to get him to at least be in the same data center as me. As I'm sure you've guessed from that sentence alone, I'm in aether. I want to be able to play with him but it's looking impossible and frankly I'm not leaving my FC for him. Is it still possible to join an aether server on off hours or are they fully shut down?

    As far as I know Aether data center is still closed down to character transfers and creation.

    As Krokov said, Aether is completely locked down, 24/7, until they change the Server Status of any of the Aether servers to "Normal" (Currently, they're all Congested)

    Data center travel exists. Sometimes it won't let anyone visit Aether, but in those cases you can both temporarily visit another data center.
