Last time I checked (about 3 minutes ago), ESO is not a cross-platform game. PC players and X-box players do not coexist on the same worlds. Switch and PS5 players to not coexist on the same worlds.

And ESO's add-ons for consoles is all of, um, 9 days old. And limited to (reads note) "Note: This support is limited to UI-based addons only."

The kicker? ESO's add-ons are curated, available in-game only from a menu, and "More complex mods or gameplay-altering scripts (like those seen on PC) will not be available on console."

That might actually be a good thing for FFXIV. it isn't the same thing as World of Warcraft's add-on system (that also doesn't work on consoles, since WoW has never released a console version of the game).
