Posting this because I think SE has forgotten about us. PLEASE re-enable it. I've been bidding on the few houses that go up since then and always got unlucky.

TBF Yoshi-p said take breaks, not unsub FFXIV. Also, if anyone really loves their house, it's something they need to personally consider if that sub fee is worth it every month.
oh really? So he wants us to pay, log in once every 45 days and play other games. Wait...that's what i'm doing...
Now that's the one that shocks me, I see no reason for this to be deleted.
The way housing is, this is a bad take. As much as people who quit want to retain their houses, current who will actually use it who don't have a house rely on auto-demolition to be able to get houses. I STILL think that thats an issue, but until we have unlimited or greatly expanded housing districts, auto-demolition is a must.
You can also lose your house while subbed.
Yet auto demolition goes against the entire philosophy of FFXIV. Its a flawed system either way, so for now, go with the strategy that aligns with Yoshi P's principles. The way housing is, this is a bad take. Heck, even NA got their demolition paused later, and enabled back earlier. And here we are, waiting for god knows how long. Also, its not fun when at least 1\3 of residental districts are submarine farms and ppl who dont play the game anymore, but still have houses standing.
45 days is way too short. People who quit the game should no longer tie up resources but 90 to 180 days should be the case.
