Forked Tower: Blood Needs A Normal Mode

There definitely should have been both difficulties and frankly whoever is against that is just gatekeeping one side.

Neither casual nor hardcore raiders should have their content cut, be it a CLL type raid or an ultimate.
You think FT is easy? Cool.
You think Discord is fun? All fine.
You think Ultimate is a waste of ressources? Your opinion but ok.
But no one has the right to decide what is more important or to deny players their content like a normal mode or an ultimate.

There is absolutely no reason not for Forked tower to have both difficulties and even less now after all this feedback.
Instead we got an „we TRY for the next one“.

I am frankly annoyed by the excuses from devs and community at this point.
The devs had time, even the patch cycles are longer now and if they juggle devs between projects that’s on them and shouldn’t be excused by the customer.
CLL is still done, DR is still done, no matter how some try to say otherwise and frankly even if not, a DR had more clear rates than a DRS so that is also not an argument I longer accept given that the devs didn’t give a damn about how long other content lasted in the past (Eureka Orthos anyone?)
You want content to stay alive? Put in in a stupid roulette or make it give something weekly that players could want.

No, content shouldn’t force people into Discord even if the people there are nice and only try to help.
It should be accepted that a part of the playerbase wants to do content ingame, period, especially after we come from the predecessor of that content that actually allowed it.

Don’t cut one side of the content down, don’t hide behind the argument of dev size or time any longer because this isn’t a small indi MMO but a Final Fantasy mainline title and FFVII is not the only title that deserves everything to get pumped into it.

Quite frankly, they have to step up their game because otherwise DT could become for the casual playerbase what HW was for the raiding scene.


My sub ran out and I will watch how 7.3 is received and what it entails before deciding any further.

I am out and for now will only watch from the sidelines.
The FT answer from the liveletter was a huge disappointment for me.
Do whatever with this post here, it will probably be my last one for the foreseeable future if not forever.
