I said the SAME thing lol. How did FFXIV in 2025 make something that was more tedious and annoying to get into than a piece of content from FFXI in 2002 (or whenever it was).

Not only that but man OC could have been such a great return to the MMO form. I mean isn't that what that area is supposed to be? Give regular mobs mechanics, make the knowledge level matter, make areas for us to camp. Kill mobs > Fate pops > Kill fates > CE pop's and Duel pops. I mean the zone is pretty but I hate it now because we just breezed through it. There are even cool little open world like dungeon areas that during the first day me and others were exploring and finding chests. (not as big as in 11 but not horrible). Shoot, I was even stopping and talking to people randomly and forming parties in those areas. THAT is MMO content. Player driven content that ISN'T housing. The pieces are there but you can tell the dev team is so scared to try it so instead they flooded the area with CE's and Fates and knowledge level doesn't even matter. It's just an arbitrary stat that is another roadblock to FT.


Idk man, this was the content I resubbed for, hoping that it was going to finally scratch that itch that we haven't seen since shadowbringers, but my god even when they were basically in the endzone they fumbled the ball. Should have been the easiest W they could have farmed.

I'm sorry, but this is the laziest possible way they could implement hats. "We'll just either hide the ears or let the ears clip through." That's pathetic. I can see taking 6+ years to do this... IF you're going to put earholes on every single headpiece, but if the solution was to just hide em or clip em, they could have just done that years ago now. This isn't some big win in my book.

I don't even wear hats, but I am happy we will have options and I may just adjust some glams to include them. We take the crumbs we can!

I would argue that it's already on that slide. The choice is to try and get CS3 to move it off the slide or to try and accelerate so hard that SE buckles.

Disappointed with all of this and I couldn't care slightly about hats as this is just a small thing to fuel some people into thinking that devs are actually doing something. Like hats could have been made years ago. Instead some of you cherish this like it's an invention of fire. Modders already did it better and square will give you clipping, broken hats and "oh sorry, just new hats, old ones won't work! So here hide your ears or don't.".

It seems as if people don't want to be treated good but rather get punched and accept any penny they can get.
