If mobs have much more HP and we have no animation lock with no lag...it sounds like it'll actually be alot more fun and look pretty badass with everyone beating the crap out of mobs. Much more action/fast paced feel.

This will be key I think..
With more Mob HP, battles will last longer and players will really get to explore the combat system.
Not to mention that buffing/debuffing magic will actually have a place in the game - (as well as all that 'resist' materia that's worthless atm)
Exactly what I mean. It'll be more like XI where you actually had to spend a minute or two on a mob where skillchains were key 80% of the time...at least at lower levels. If fights are similar to how that Limit Break sequence went at the end of the 2.0 gameplay video then I'm all in.This will be key I think..

I didn't think of it at first, but starting every fight with full TP means I, as a Monk, get to dragonkick a mob's head in to start the fight.
This makes me happier than it should.
Yup, this will be much better than hit and 4 sec wait.
Having TP and MP on similar patterns will make balancing much more easier.
Especially for PVP.

Ah another thing that i forgot to mention, did anyone notice that Skills, have global Cool down (again, like wow e co. ? )
This i suppose, because the combat system is going to be much more fast, and to prevent too much spam of action.

I presume that you gain TP in battle like you do now, but that it regens out of battle automatically. As someone else said, like MP. I'll be interested to see how it pans out.

For anyone that doesn't know, Limit Breaks are replacing Battle Regimen. It was told in an interview from yesterday.. Too lazy to dig up a link though.
Scenes of hundreds of corpses of people who don't know how to handle their enmity just flashed before my eyes. This is an interesting idea, and I definitely think it has potential, but I do worry that if melee and magic mechanics stray too close to each other, they will start to feel too similar and bland. We'll just have to see how it goes.
