Maybe you missed the part where class/job actions are going to differ in 2.0 from the current version.

keep in minds some abilities are getting reworked though so maybe invigorate ill be like "gives so and so store tp % or maybe reduced tp consumption by 20% for x amount of seconds)
Starting off with full TP sounds really nice, seems to kill the annoying slow starts to any battle you take on atm.

I'm very glad they decided to go with this method of TP gain. This will likely even out the burst capabilities of melee DD and BLMs for front loaded damage.http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/g...ew.html/page/1
"The current battle system that we have right now is based on TP and the TP fills as you fight.
The biggest thing that is going to be different here is that the TP guage will be full when you start combat so you can use skills and weapons right off the bat.
And so, in addition to that, the combo system will change and the battles will be more action-oriented because you'll be able to use all of these things from the beginning."
"Because of that, the battle tempo, the speed with which you fight things, and the speed from one battle to the next will be significantly increased."
YESThis is what i was waiting for!... Much Faster BS, but still not action. I love the idea of having full tp from the starting of the battle (so the video wasn't in "god mode")
Faster BS + Limit break = :Q___
Let's see how it plays out
SE will probably keep DRG with increased TP regen so you can still use more WS than usual.ok that is just BS unless they make DRG have faster TP regeneration. . . why? cuz atm he has Invigorate,Store TP Trait, A relic that has Store TP so why make it regenrate instead of Per hit?

I like having TP right off the bat. Let melees get in on the BLM front loaded damage, maybe they won't get ignored over throwing BLM at everything now.
I don't like what I saw of combat in the video though, goofy WoW/Aion/every other MMO ever backpedal while fighting (they couldn't have just made you run in that direction? Did they get rid of analog control or something?) and spammable skills means that while it'll be nicer for melees it might become just another "set rotation" type of game. I thought the directional combos were a good idea, and they'd actually work fully now that the lag and animation lock is gone.

Don't forget SE still hasn't shown us exactly what "limit breaks" are, and they haven't announced anything about the battle regimen system. (If they're even keeping it)I like having TP right off the bat. Let melees get in on the BLM front loaded damage, maybe they won't get ignored over throwing BLM at everything now.

Yeah, I still have hope Yoshida and the crew can make it fun and engaging, they did for the old battle system which used to suck. I'm just voicing a couple of concerns.

The game currently does that, you move backward slowly if you are locked on in active mode.I like having TP right off the bat. Let melees get in on the BLM front loaded damage, maybe they won't get ignored over throwing BLM at everything now.

Full TP at the start sounds awesome, and really levels the playing field. They could just as easily alter Invigorate and Store TP is still useful in longer battles.

Oh, I know it currently does. But with the backstep in the current game you strafe around the enemy and it looks like it would if you were stepping away from an enemy in a real fight; weapon still raised, ready to fight.
That backpedal in that video was like running in place while backing up with weapon down and no strafing around the enemy.

Very interesting. The possibilities of having full TP with a class like Musketeer, where I can maybe fire off a long distance low accuracy high damage shot to begin the fight makes me happy.

It might be alright since they are moving to a quest based xp system but they will need to change HP on monsters. I don't mind a faster battle system but I don't want faster fights.
