Ok I get what you are saying now, and yeah, I've long felt the same, Friday was the last straw.Yes.
Anyone in a position like theirs can.
Your rebuttal that doing x, y or z would "suicide 70%" of whatever is coming across as kinda disingenuous now.
You *know* they can choose to do that. We didn't say that promising and not delivering wouldn't have consequences. That is not the point being made.
I said your choice was binary. Strictly binary. Either you pay, or you choose not to pay. Performative outrage at choices being made with the money you already paid them is meaningless to them. Honestly, truly.
What they probably care about is, that future money may dry up based on their choices. But until that money IS stopped, all the comments on digital front by the plebes (thats you and I, Nao) does not matter at all to them.
If enough people keep paying, they have no reason to care. No reason besides increasing revenue to honor a promise, and even that is more a happy by-product so long as the money keeps rolling in. If enough people stop paying, they'll just shut it down and write it off.
But there is no happy medium, no outcome, no possibility whatsoever where statements about how the money "should" be spent from the plebes (thats you and I, again) matter to the people who have that money.
You. Pass. The. Butter.
