But back on topic: SE might want to limit the number of shirts per purchase, though they shouldn't be surprised if someone wants to buy any remaining stock at the end of each event to offer them for fair prices (cost plus shipping & handling?) on eBay...

A great many of us played 1.0 til the end we'd like to have our momento of it by buying the shirt. Not everyone can go to events or afford to in this economy or it's too far to travel. Please just make it available to buy in the SE store.

As was abundantly clear to us at this year's E3, there are plenty of people who'd like their own Meteor Survivor FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn polo shirt!
Currently, we're looking into making them purchasable at events in the future so that more players can get their hands on this rare body piece!

...but...why won't you just take my money? I mean yes, I went to all the fanfests, and will probably continue to do so in future, but the idea of waiting another year+ for this shirt just seems absurd because presumably a fanfest will be for an expansion like in the past.

As everyone else has said, please please please just put it in the store.

Okipuit, that's great that you want to sell them at events but there's one tiny problem with that. Not EVERYONE is ABLE to GO to SAID events. Nor do they even have EVENTS near enough for a lot of people to go too without having to spend money on HOTEL ROOMS and or PLANE tickets just to fly to those events. IE: I live in FLORIDA. I work 40 hours a week and there are no GAMING CONVENTIONS AND EVENTS even remotely near me... the closest one you would even go to is PAX and that is a plane trip and a hotel room rental which is impossible for a single person who pays rent and such to do much less someone who's married with children. WE ALL EQUALLY wish to have the ability to purchase these shirts and by the 12 we demand it! How is it that it's soo hard for them just to let us buy them on the se page?


Btw to also drive my point home on at least myself not being able to leave state to go to a major event... hmm how to put this blandly... (this may also fit with other people as well) I also take care of my 50+ year old mother who's on the verge of Congestive Heart Failure (ergo I have no idea how much longer she has left to live), so I and my father are her caregivers. I have to take care of her while my father is at work. (cook and clean and other medical stuff) We have no one else who will do it and our health insurance will not cover for hospice and such... So that's another thing that has effectively put me in fetters and doesn't allow me to go out and do a lot of things that I would like to do.
