Dear SE: Please listen to actual players, not just content creators

Don't bother with it, just answer the question: what rewards do you exactly want to be not locked by Savage?

To add to the previous 2 posters:
Mounts. Let Savage / Ex have more fancy mounts with light effects and emotes, and normal mode mounts be more basic without the emote.
(That lets people get a mount they enjoy, while still keeping bragging rights for those that engaged with harder content)

Honestly I have been saying that. Some content creators are very aware that, their lot has ruined ff14. No offense but ppl like zenos, zelpa, mr. Happy and etc. Have really poisoned the well for ff14. Nothing wrong with enjoying them but its about time ppl recognize content in this game is being made for them vs the player base. Nerfs and balances are made for savage players and ultimates not a care or thought goes into how these changes can affect the game as a whole. Just look at mch.

I always wonder where Yoshi-P gets this sort of feedback from. Casual players (myself included) have been asking for ENGAGING content, not hard content. In fact, I've felt frustrated at how often content ended up being yet another savage. No. We need more Bozja-difficulty style content imo.

Engaging but not hard content needs jobs that have a high skill ceiling. Unfortunately that is exactly what SE is trying to avoid having to design.

zepla also used to do savage and ultimate, then she couldn't be carried through TOP, got salty and she's salty to this day, if you didn't notice she started to get whiny about the game after that, it still was Endwalker times. And then she hopped on the rage bait train but whatever, she lost the bulk of her viewership too. Mr. Happy is the most tame of the streamers tbh, he doesn't have the harsh takes Xeno or Arthars have so dunno why people are against him. but there is also the problem that the playerbase itself doesn't know what it wants. Ask 100 people what is this kind of "midcore" content and rewards they want, and you'll get all different answers. Then you have to filter the valid criticism from just the complaining for sake of complaining

tldr: the dawntrail hate train bandwagon started, and as Barret says, there ain't getting offa this train now.

I don't know so much about Zepla; watched her most recent (at the time of this post) stream and she seemed quite excited about the upcoming Deep Dungeon at least, and she seemed 'on the fence' regarding most of what the livestream covered.

Xenosys just went off on an expletive filled rant about YoshiP's Q&A feedback but did say he thinks that Dawntrail's main success as an expansion (he made clear that he doesn't "give a s**t" about the MSQ or Wuk Lamat) has been the battle content.
And haven't watched Mr Happy's stream regarding this.

I dont have current numbers on hand but iirc of all max level players at the time of e5s being current content about half of the max level characters had a clear logged. A ton of people engage with savage, though obviously not all of them clear savage.

She's definitely one of the most consistently critical as far as "big" content creators go, so a lot of people wrote her off as a rage baiting grifter as soon as the sympathy for getting displaced by the Russia/Ukraine war ran out.
