why when its not even in this patch? xD

without fun jobs none of the content is fun
Right but people enjoy football, plus you can bet on it.but in reality, they're much more than just content for the 1% of raiders. They're also large social media content, viewership content, engagement with the larger community content. Just because you don't play in the NFL doesn't mean you can't enjoy an NFL game.
Regardless of how people feel about ultimate as a content piece, my main argument today is that SE needs to change their timelines for actual announcements of said content.
I would've had no issues if we knew back before 7.2 or even with a few weeks of 7.2 release that there was no 7.3 ultimate. That way I wouldn't have wasted my time and energy organizing a HC static with 8 weeks of splits to account for alt jobs and gearing, not to mention the actual time spent doing the splits themselves
Why would anyone watch someone playing a video game instead of playing the game themselves?

I think it’s fair to say you can derive enjoyment from ultimate even if you don’t do ultimate (I know I enjoyed the FRU world first even if it was more fun to watch the crash out over plugins) but I don’t think that extends to anything besides ultimate. The savage and savage analogues (chaotic and criterion) don’t reach remotely the same highs
Even though I don’t do new ultimates anymore I still support them for the community engagement, but I also wouldn’t try to sell something like chaotic as community engagement (though stats show CAR was actually super popular)
As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess
1. Because many people don't consider themselves able to do Ultimates. And it's not even necessarily due to skill, but rather due to time or the challenging process of getting 7 others to do it at the same times who won't all fight with eachother or be unable to do it.
2. Streams are really about the person playing, not what they are playing. They can make it boring or fun by their own personality or character and their associated reactions to events, or they can make it interesting by discussing philosophical or political issues.
3. Talk about the game with others who care about it, or meet other people - and sometimes people meet others through a stream chat or its discord, or even end up playing with the streamer.
4. If you can't play, such as due to being away from a PC or it is broken, and just have a mobile device.
5. Your example is like saying why not play football instead of watch it. Both happen and that's really that.
Hardcore raiders were literally having their fill with Chaotic released right with Fru. I think you need to realize there's other people who don't play the game at those levels because they've let their casual player base suffer for quite some time.
With all due respect why do you care if you haven't done any ultimates?Im actually quit happy that there is no Ultimate in 7.3, me personally thinks the second Ultimate is better placed after the third tier because the time between the third tier and the new expansion is way way more drought then 7.3 - 7.4, and dont get me wrong i get what you mean but "Yoshi-P and the leaders at SE need to get with the times of 2025 and realize that waiting until 2 months before a supposed patch release date" just doesnt suit me, the playerbase has maybe just to accept that not everything has to go with the time
These are coming from the man who boasted on how he can do 2 hour long presentations with 99% stuff that everyone already knows. Contents stretched so thin that you can make pie crusts. 15 mins on chat bubbles? No problemo in my book!
Huge /s incase anyone didn't get it.

Eh, maybe not.
you literally just stopped reading my post didn't you? I'm mad because they didn't give us a notice until the PLL that there would be no 7.31 ultimate, thereby causing me and my group to waste our time with split clears and ulti prep. I don't care about the lack of a 7.31 ultimate itself, i just wanted to know before we had spent all the time prepping for one that we had ample reason to believe they would deliver one otherwise
