FFXIV locking up my PC during gameplay.

I've been playing and testing this method for probably a week now. It's 100% successful for me. I've even found a much more practical solution than writing a program to keep the drive active. I just open up one of the images in my pictures folder on that drive with windows photo viewer, and set it to 'slide show'. It then automatically opens a new image every ~4 seconds. It's silly that this has to be done to get the game working properly, but works like a charm so I'm happy.

Yes I had similar issue with ocz ssd after a firmware. Usually happens when windows turns off the drive to save power. It's a firmware issue as I've tried everything and rolling back the firmware was the only solution.
