    Constant server connection issues

Trying to play on Xbox, and I am having issues logging in on every step of the process, game asking for console restart on the Launcher, kicked back to the Launcher when trying to connect to the Data Center, and sent back to the title Menu after choosing a character. it's been an infinite loop of not being able to access my characters at all.
    I have rebooted my router
I have hard reset my console
    I have reinstalled the game
    I have contacted my ISP
I have checked my connection on other games and they all work fine
And I have been at this issue for 3 and a half hours now.

I am at a complete loss on what to do

    To answer your questions:
I do not use a VPN, as I am on Xbox
I am wireless, but I almost consistently have 200 download, with at most 1% packet loss, on a bad day, with 40 ms ping. Connection strength of 96%. No option to do a wired connection due to router placement.
Almost every single day, it took me 3 hours to log in last week, and it's happening to me again right now, and I just did a factory reset to see if that fixes it. Doesn't matter what time of the day it is, even at 2 AM I still get errors.

    ISP: Spectrum
    Region/State: USA, CO

Also, to side note: Error code 10105 when loading in as a character, then boots me to Title screen. error code 2002 afterwards while connecting to Data Center, then boots me to launcher. then Xbox Error pop-up when on launcher, asking me to restart. Error will happen in any order, and sometimes the Launcher will soft lock itself

Good morning! Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

Thank you for providing us with the information previously requested. The issue you are describing is most associated with interference with the game data on Final Fantasy XIV. Most of the time, it results from certain security/privacy changes on the Xbox system.

We would suggest that you first be sure the system is updated. In order to ensure your console is up to date, you would need to perform the following:
Select "Profile & Systems", go to "Settings", then "System", and find Updates.

Once you have checked the system has been updated, we would then suggest that you restart your network devices. Please turn off the power on your router and/or modem for 30 minutes to an hour. This should help clear any unnecessary data cached on the equipment which will possibly allow a smoother connection.

Next, we would suggest that you update your firmware for your router/modem if an update is necessary. If the firmware is outdated, your equipment may not function properly. Please update the firmware before trying to update the game again. You can refer to your device's help manual when updating firmware. Even if your firmware is up to date, reinstalling it may help resolve the situation.

We would also suggest that you check the security services of your internet provider. Security services may be included as part of your internet provider service plan. Please ensure that these security services permit online gaming. Additionally, you can temporarily remove routers and/or hubs to diagnose the issue. This may change your connection to a broadband connection. Please consult with your provider for connection settings.

If the suggestions provided above do not resolve the issue, then there is a communication error. (Not the same as a connection error.) Check the security settings (Such as SPI) on your router. Also, please forward the ports used for the game. The ports are listed below:

    ▼UDP
    55296~55551

    ▼TCP
    80, 8080, 443,55296~55551

*This can be done by visiting www.portforward.com, locate your specific Router/Modem Brand and Model Number from the 'List of Routers', and you will find a step-by-step guide on how to access your ports.

If you have properly configured your router, and you are still experiencing these issues, our next suggestion is to bypass the router, and connect your console directly to your modem. Please ensure that you power down both the modem and the console for at least five minutes before attempting to connect to FINAL FANTASY XIV.

We would also suggest that you reinstall FINAL FANTASY XIV Online this could also help to resolve the issue. If you continue to receive these same errors when you are connected directly to the modem, then the problem lies with your ISP. We would recommend contacting your provider once more and advising them that one or more of the ports previously provided to you are being blocked or filtered, and that you do need access on these ports.

I have already verified with someone with SE for all those troubleshooting options and every single one of those have already been exhausted. All those troubleshooting options was done BEFORE customer service sent me here to the forums. System is up to date. ISP says everything should be up and running with no blocked ports, I am unable to do port forwarding, but have at least verified the ports are not blocked. Router Firmware was recently updated, and I have rebooted my router 7 times, and reinstalled the game a minimum of 4 times, still no dice. And as for the Modem connection, I have 0 way of connecting directly to the modem with this setup.

I bet you're having the same issue I am, as I also have Spectrum.

    https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/...=1#post6715700

tl;dr It appears to be packet loss, due to routing through unstable ntt.net addresses. One of the links I posted there also suggested reporting it here:

Thank you, the entire time, everyone was pointing fingers at different directions, and I have basically been sent in a circle twice now. hopefully I can finally fix this with spectrum tomorrow if this is the actual reason. I get 0 info on that front due to lack of PC.

Edit: Turns out I can't read. Sorry!

Yeah. I know you said you were playing on console, but you could try a trace route from your computer. There are some instructions if you scroll down on this page:
    https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes...a451d5a8daa66f

the command would be: tracert 204.2.29.122

And just see if you experience any lines that say "Request timed out." And if those happen near lines that say for example: ae-4.a00.scrmca03.us.bb.gin.ntt.net (basically anything that has ntt.net in it).
It's okay if it says Request Timed Out on line 1 or 2, that isn't indicative of anything.
