Still have the problem here, even got a new one (Error 2021) today . If i had to guess I have maybe a 70% chance of encountering an error when opening a connection with any of the servers (maybe I'm being filted by DDOS protections for some reason?) via logging in via the launcher, connecting to a datacenter, logging into a character, or transferring a character between worlds/datacenters. Please help I've tried everything

Been away for a few days, and came back to find out that yes, it's still happening to me despite successfully testing it repeatedly previously and it working every time when I posted last that it was resolved.

    Hmm.

    Edit:

    Found an old post, https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes...a451d5a8daa66f

Interesting to see that when I run a tracert to the mentioned ip for the NA servers, I get several hops that time out. I'm also going to submit a bug report on this at this point.

    The tracert in question:

    PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> tracert 204.2.29.122

Tracing route to 204.2.29.122 over a maximum of 30 hops

Furthermore, this post seems to indicate that ntt as a provider is the issue.

I too have been having the exact same problem, playing on PS5. I've been seeing this issue ever since the start of June, right around when the Occult Crescent update was implemented. I had pinned my hopes on it being caused by my switch from a wired connection to wifi, but even after I've replaced my ethernet cable I'm afraid the issue is just as consistent and bothersome. It's strange - once I finally do manage to connect to the game, I have zero connection issues whatsoever, no lag, no rubberbanding during raids or busy fates, etc.

Good afternoon, fellow adventurers and thank you for the replies!

If you are still experiencing issues with connection and you believe it's due to packet loss or other factors, please submit your information using this form

Additionally, we recommend contacting your internet service provider and share the details and issues directly with them.
