Has anyone else had issues with being harassed by other players using the in-game report system? Since the GM's refuse to discuss, who, what and why they were reported the system can be, and is, used to harass players by reporting players they don't like.

Contrary to popular belief, I know how to behave myself. :<
If you are polite to others, and do not grief them using ingame mechanics (like doing a sitting strike in a dungeon or abusing the vote-kick system with buddies) no matter how often you are reported, the GM will never find anything to even contact you about.

In general, GMs are VERY sensitive in this game. Think twice before speaking and deploy Japanese level of politeness when discussing personal/social stuff. Ranting about ingame mechanics is fine, just don't use a too fruity language.

The stories I can tell about my experiences with violence and hatred blow most of my straight friends minds.

Don't be that guy. There are cultural differences, end of the line. Nobody should be expected to behave in japanese fashion. If GMs or whatever their guidelines are can't adapt, they're bad. That is to say, they'd be if they existed outside of support, tickets and the likes.

Look I'm not saying it wasn't but your story is full of holes and feels really knee jerky. And as someone who has dealt with this for 30+ years you need to give us more than what you are. And it is a messed up system put in place for very odd reasons, but don't cry wolf when it may be just a fox and you just aren't sure.

Because you don't have a clear issue. Stop trying to turn this around on me and making it seem like I don't take these issues seriously lol.

I will stand shoulder to shoulder with my community, but only when there is a clear issue that needs me to stand with them. I am not going to defend you because someone was mean to you in an online game and you think it may or may not be related to who you are. You will always find someone who is mean in a public group, even ppl within your own community, but you need to learn to roll with it and pick your battles. But whatever you do, don't make assumptions as to why they are being mean to you and screaming about real, ongoing and important social issues when they simply could be a jerk. Did they say something homophobic to you? I got your back. Did they say something mean and you think it may be due to homophobia, but aren't entirely sure? Sorry dude, not going to grab a flag and march for that.

This game doesn't use an automated system that can be abused like that, everything is reviewed by actual people. If there were nothing in the chat logs to incriminate your friends then no action would be taken on a report. If they're getting banned then clearly the GMs found evidence of them saying or doing something that broke the ToS. Avoid breaking the ToS and there should be nothing to worry about from false reports.

That the proplem with systems in games situations are not always black and white your long list of codes you call ToS doesnt turn something all good or all bad which is the issue with Gms in general you should look at the entire situations and not just the action or words said, if someone acting out of defense and standing up for themselves no they shouldn't be banned even if what they did or said was against the ToS it doesn't matter acting out of defense and standing up for yourself automatically should over write the ToS.

I'm sorry but some people Desever to be attacked and harassed/ thrown and cut because they started it on someone attacking them as a counter is 100% fine
