When other MMOs address their issues starting from the present. Here we have the devs just throwing that line ambiguously, and when the "future" they promised arrives, then it arrives with a disappointment, and another: "We received your feedback and are working on it. Please look forward to it in a year or two"

If there's one thing I stopped "looking forward to" (gosh I started to HATE that phrase) is whatever they have for jobs in 8.0.

We look forward to something based on a more immediate reference. And all we have now is the decline that started shy in Shadowbringers, but plummeted in Dawntrail, of job complexity. And is not like an outlier of a 'missed beat' because it truly feels like they think that is the best for the game, as it happened progressively with several examples.

How I can look forward to jobs in 8.0 if the team that is doing that is the same one that lobotomized Black Mage 2 months ago?

It's for the best if they prove in 8.0 that I'm completely wrong about this.

Doubt 8.0 is going to be any good, theyd have to rework every job from ground up for me to be what they claim they will be which I doubt as all their money go toward retaining dead games
