About the Lix Chiton

So I got the Lix Chiton top doing Occult Crescent because I enjoy having gear that other FF characters wear.
Trying it on though, I found an extreme negative: if you\\\\'re a race with a tail, it completely removes it (at least on au ra and miqote, not sure what happens with hrothgar).
My simple question is: Why? Every other FF protag set does nothing with the tail. (Afaik) If it\\\\'s the cape, there\\\\'s plenty of other sets with capes that keep your tail. And the other sets in OC don\\\\'t remove it either, with the exception of the two sets that mimic Beserker gear, but that makes sense with that one (the wolf tail you get instead). It\\\\'s not a bug either since you moved someone\\\\'s report to "working as intended".

There doesn't seem to be rhyme or reason as to why some outfit pieces just let the tails or ears clip through and which ones will prune them off your character.

I would much rather just let the tail and ears clip through than be removed personally if they can't take the time to make them work for each race individually like they used to. I mean...they used to make special versions of hats with ear holes for the races that needed them, but sadly those days are long gone unless it's a relic gear set usually.

Also any race that plays SCH or RPR and uses Seraphism / Enshroud loses their ears and tails when they get forced into the white angel robe or hooded avatar transformation.
I probably shouldn't even bring up how poor Viera and Hrothgar characters are still waiting just to wear most hats.
