Please expand the blacklist or better, yet, stop this nonsense, it's causing my PC to run very sluggish when going to Leviathan Limsa because of this Weeboo troll, I have blacklisted this many of them minus two other blacklisted players that aren't the Weeboo Police!! That's 157 Weeboo Police trolls I have blacklisted so far and they keep creating more daily! This is abuse at this point and stopped being funny years ago

157 of these Weeboo Police trolls is NOT a few, this is now abuse of system resources just to troll and it's causing bad lag in Limsa there for me! That person will keep creating more and I won't have enough slots in my blacklist to block them all soon.

As someone who knows weaboo/has mutual friends with them, figured I'd clear up a few things:

    1) to start with, realize that every twitter/forum/in-game post is being screenshotted and archived in a group discord. I am not stating this as a correct/promoted opinion but to quote the general group sentiment of ppl who are aware of everything ppl do and say about them being afk, "these are examples of how mentally ill people are on this game". when people call them online terrorists for afk'ing in limsa, that want to start a witchhunt and spam GM tickets, a process meant for actual harassment, being delayed because of reports over an afk character, it sounds like these people would be in a psyche ward, trembling in a corner over an afk roe model. you are literally infinite entertainment to them, and when you comment on them, you indirectly give an argument that you're beneath them because they are proving they can emotionally bother you while not even being present, and that you have no priorities in-game or irl above an afk character. The idea he can leave his PC's and do other things, while you have a mental breakdown, is concerning if you were to lay this out to a therapist.

    2) For the people actually blacklisting his characters, what are you really doing, is using the blacklist to remove a character model you don't like. What you are doing is no different than if I was to say, "Square Enix, I want to blacklist every Miqo'te in Limsa because they're all rats they are obstructing my enjoyment of the game." Now how I would looktelling Yoshi P to to expand the blacklist just so I don't have to see ultimate raider miqo'te's anymore.

    3) You have to realize, even creating 150 accounts, that's 750 minutes, barely over 12 hours, and he gets months/years of entertainment. I know people that spend 4-7 hours just editing a gpose photo. Now which one has more value, 2 pictures of 500 likes on twitter, or months/years of being famous while not even being at the screen? Arguably speaking, they are one of the most efficient user-generated fun out of the entire playerbase hour for hour, which is sad.

    4) Weaboo does have paid subscriptions that most people may not have realized. Which means you are pressing Square Enix to ban a paying player over you not liking their cosmetics, WHILE being nowhere near in a position to unsub yourself just from what they're doing. You didn't file tickets on the 8-12 man bard groups in Limsa, you didn't file tickets on the 50-100 people who AFK in quicksands EVERY SINGLE DAY TAKING UP ACTUAL CONGESTED WORLDS for no benefit other than to be able to come back and see nsfw tells/offers when their League game is done, but you have a problem with the afk roe's. If they put on a suit and played old FF tracks like the songbirds, they'd be okay to exist then? Should they add a /c/ to their search info and then it'd be okay? There's a precedence/consistency issue that Square Enix doesn't even feel like bothering to respond to.

My question is how he is doing it because the most clients you can run on one pc heard is 2 at a time. Unless he is running 15 to 20 pc's at once to do this otherwise using third party program to make it happen.

Virtual machines are a thing. Although even with those you couldn't run that many clients on one "normal" PC.

So, this is a multi-part question.

    1) "weaboo" is not 1 person. There is the OG weaboo person, and other weaboo variations such as cia and fbi are other individuals that are inside of the group I mentioned.

    2) Standard pc interaction is 2 clients; however, there are a few things to note. First thing is as Absurdity stated, there are virtual machines/sandboxes that can be used to create more clients. There is also a process on your PC that even allows the launcher to know you have 2 clients already so removing that is another option. Second thing is that most people haven't pushed their PC in that way pre or post-dawntrail. You could have a $200 refurbished PC that runs 2 normal game clients. If you were to drop $1000 on refurbished trash laptops instead of say statue emotes or fanfest trip or upgrading a PC part, you could be running 10 game clients legitimately just from that one financial drop. Pre-dawntrail at least, that same $200 PC, if you pushed it at minimum settings and used various methods, you could run up to 6-8 clients on that single trash PC so a $1000 drop would net you 30-40 clients worth of load you could handle. The highest I've heard on a single PC pre-dawntrail was over 20 clients on a $1000 PC, and I know people that can open over 10 clients on a single device post-dawntrail still.

    3) Even with third party software usage being likely if not necessary depending on how many are showing up, the problem is that Square Enix has no way to know what's happening on any given PC itself. A GM is not going to realistically investigate 20-40+ service accounts and find hardware information for each of them, and there's not even a ToS violation motivating that. GM's are like customer support in various companies where their performance is based on tickets resolved in a given time period. The same way a customer support person may hang up or transfer you to someone else or come up with a BS reason to not help your complicated problem, is the same way some GM's likely handwave issues because resolving it doesn't help them nor fix the problem. The accounts are going to come back, there are even people in the group who have bypassed hardware bans before so nothing in the GM level arsenal is effective, and getting lawyers involved for tens of thousands of dollars for afk characters is not going to happen. They can't fix the issue even if they wanted to, and even trying to, hurts their job metrics. There was actually an interesting video on youtube of a Blizzard ex-GM talking about how he used to track down RMT/stolen account finances to try to get rid of the bank accounts at the source and he was criticized/reprimanded at work for wasting time doing that. If a GM can be told that following stolen finances that are known RMT related is a waste of time, you can guess the implication for an afk character.

    Here's a (joke) theory:

    It's Elon Musk.
Considering number of characters, hardware required, etc.(He has the money to throw into it)
Probably doing it because he couldn't get past the first quest in Limsa, got ridiculed by some Lalafell player when he tried to pay them to level him/doesn't like the fact that a Lalafell character is richer than him in-game, and now clones his character in defiance and trolls Lalafells

I don't have any issues with members of the Weeb Law Enforcement and Intelligence Community, and I don't think any reasonable person does either. I see them and run past them as I get on with my business - as any reasonable person would do. Sometimes I chuckle because it's just so silly, funny, and iconic. They're really part of the Primal DC's culture, just like the Jades and the naked dancing catboy. Honestly I find the meltdowns people have in /say, /shout, the Novice Network and now here at the Official Forums to be hilarious - more so than the idling Roegadyns themselves, and the beautiful irony of it is that all of these meltdowns just encourage the behavior in perpetuity. It's incredibly narcissistic to expect the world to bend to your will, and it's incredibly vile to bully others into submission so you personally don't have to experience even the slightest modicum of discomfort. If you genuinely feel aggrieved by it, just block them and move on. That's something you can control. When you crash out over a joke, expect people to laugh at you. When you join the Congregation of Karens to report things you don't like, nobody will like you. You're not having a Rosa Parks moment by standing up to a few guys idling on their alts in a video game. If the content of character on display by many is anything to go by, it's a truly miserable existence many players of this game apparently live.

There's been talk in this thread about a Discord group where these brave members of the Weeb Law Enforcement and Intelligence Community share their encounters with the public, I'd honestly love to get in on that and do my part.

I'd say holding 20-60 player spots hostage in an era of "congestion" is a problem.

How does this impact you personally? It's not even your DC and nobody actually on Leviathan has had any complaints about it impacting their ability to phase in and out of Limsa.
