As much as there's a bit of exaggeration in OP's post entering does suck. What's worse is they know how to fix it as they had a good system with Dynamis in 11, leader has hourglass and then breaks it and trades to each player. Only those with hourglass can enter same instance.

They design this content with Japanese customs and social behavior in mind (because they literally can’t think otherwise), what a big surprise it doesn’t really work in Murica and Euroland…

I mean there must be a reason why every Japanese and Korean domestic MMO is geoblocked…

You should look at the Japanese forum and see that they have the same problems with forked tower.
In fact it’s even worse over there because they have less of a dedicated Discord community.
They also seem to have huge problems with harassment with being left dead on the floor in the tower and other players “cheating” CE’s in refusing rezzes to dodge the mechanics.
This isn’t a cultural issue and in fact the opinions in this game align more often than some of you think.

Japan isn’t the peaceful wonderland you all think it is.
The entire OC thread there is almost completely about forked tower and the forum is where the more… “friendly” comments of them are.

I wouldn’t hold my breath.
If they change something it will be in another patch like the chaotic attack name one because of their holy schedules.
If Yoshida says something it will be in a random interview sometime around 8.0.
The whole studio doesn’t talk with the playerbase anymore nowadays and seems to have a huge “we know better than you” mentality and just seem to include some things in the game because they have to with rolling eyes.

If there is one thing they absolutely suck at, it’s reacting to feedback in a timely manner.

Probably yeah? He'll make a general plea to cooperate and work together to tackle the challenge, say they're lowering the cost of the ciphers or the hp of one of the bosses by 1% to encourage more people to try, and then move on to 7.3 announcements
