Forked Tower is making me quit the game

I know people who say this think they are being helpful. But they aren't and it just highlights the problem with the content. How much of the game requires you to organize through a third party app? Now have content that requires that, can the "discord it" people not see how jarring that is. If people wanted that kind of MMO they would not play 14. It is such a weird design choice.

Not to mention we PF Unreals, Extremes, Savage, Ultimates, Chaotic, Criterion, etc. We can do those all without Discord. But the only thing tying everything to Discord here (since some have said it's mechanically either EX or Savage level which we already PF) is the idiotic entry requirements instead of having a queue.

I'll hold you onto your word in an expansion or two.
But I'm not convinced this is going to stick as well as BA, because it's not a novelty like BA, and the mechanics inside look on savage level, which wasn't the case for BA, so this is going to drastically reduce accessibility and the amount of people ready to run it.

Knowing how out of touch with the community and designing anything even remotely long-term attractive they are are as devs. I think we are in for a wild ride to a crash in 8.0 unless they manage to design themselves out of the ditch. They only know how to design two extremes, brainjarringly simple or to the other side. Needlessly complex. They are having a trouble of finding the golden midway of things.

Its painfully obvious in their world design too, pretty maps, that are empty and meaningless with half-finished buildings and closed dwellings. With quests and npc's that mean nothing. Same fates, same hunts, rince and repeat. Yoshi P's design is more of a checklist than anything actually designed to innovate or please the playerbase for longterm. But yet they expect people to pay for a long term subscription.

I like to do the content and a lot of it, but I don't like the methods and what we need to do for it... and ending dying at one of the bosses because am not 24 in the group and that 1 person can by accident ruin it for all as well.

They should make us able to queue into it and I would be fine with if PF can't be used for it, but just that we can queue into it like a normal raid or whatever and it working cross server of course as well, so quickly can get a game going.

I never tried Baldesion Arsenal, but I remember Castrum Lacus Litore and Dalraida being just fine to queue for, this Forked Tower stuff just looks like a straight up regression.

I've pretty much farmed CC for about 2 hours every day since 7.25 came out. Yet i've not been inside the Forked Tower once. Today was the first time i actually saw it but it was already ongoing. Whoever designed this really hates people who can only play 2-3h a day.

I saw that. I really appreciated that he was trying to get things together in-game. I wish more streamers would lean that way instead of of embracing the "Pre-made only" mentality.
