I hope not.
I hope not.
It's not like it will matter when people still can't do this content and fail in the first phase. After months of being released, you can't clear normally because people troll in this one way often or never read guides and don't care but somehow got a clear to join those specific rules raid. As much as I love doing chaotic, it feels like a chore when 8+ parties fail and you waste hours on it for no loot.
I agree. I think the point is I've just become so damaged with cynicism. I acknowledge it's pure sad. They might be someone who is just really proud of their first highend mount. The savage equivalent of a sprout.
But my mind now just goes first to, "probably one of those people who wrote my party of as progliars and bailed after 2 pulls, utterly wasting the hour and a half I spent hoping this Chaotic would fill." (sometimes 3 hours)
The whole situation and business is pathetic in the true sense of the word.
It's SE thats torn the community apart.

Thats what you get for beign late to the party, everyone knew this was a dead raid once the new content drops.
Nobody needs the gear that drops in there, it looks rather bad except for the tank set.
The fight is a pain in the butt to progg because of how easy you can wipe from mistakes.

I put 5 hours in and netted less than an hour and a halfs playtime. I wasnt doing anything else, it was solid. Pretty easy to be aware of the time.
I got to the end of the day and I just did not feel good.
I had not had fun at all.
In fact I can actually say it was the 2nd worst gaming experience I've ever had.
Made 0 progress further than I made on day 1.
(Skipped day 2. Some culturally insensitive SOB released it over Christmas. Actual Christmas.)
It was late to the race to be fair but the time it was taking 3 hours to queue in. But more like 3 to never.
Party Finder could be absolutely brutal for Chaotic, but the fight was worth it. Some of the most fun I've had in FFXIV. Probably helped in my case that Crystal had a lot of parties up for it at the start and Crystal DC culture tends to not have people bail so fast on PF parties. I did do a lot of DC traveling, but making note of the people who put up PFs that I had good experiences with their parties helped too.No that was day 3.

The Dais of Darkness is an awesome mount and the Clouddark Armor if Fending is an awesome glam for tanks.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOKItaf2khMMore seriously though I'm not sure what to think of it. I thought initially that only Ultimates were content that should remain "pristine" and "out of time" (since they're basically fancy reworks of older content themselves and the hardest difficulty achievable). But now more content gets the same treatment like Criterion... or perhaps Chaotic as well. So what puts those apart from savage and extremes so that they cannot be unsynced? Genuine question.
Pristine content. And that’s not even 1/3 of all the tools that are available if you dig deep enough.
The problem lies in the content itself, it’s just not fun to do, especially not with forcing 7 (23) other people you don’t really know on you only so that you can get a glowing stick (or whatever is perceived as flex at the moment) in a desperate bid to make other people believe that you’re a big shot in a non-competitive tab target game.
That’s why people will gladly take the end goal without the journey.
