Doubtful it's still fairly recent, and apart from the armor set, you can buy most of the rewards on the MB at high prices, but then again, no one runs it now, so.
I remember there being talk when it first came out that it would one day be 12 man content, having cleared it unsyncing it is the only way I see that happening.
It only requires all 24 to soak the towers without vuln. stacks. If the two person towers only have 1 person, you get 1 vuln. stack and take 50k damage unmitigated for each (200k for each tower with zero people in them), which you would only be able to survive if you can unsync it starting next expansion.
Unlikely.
What likely happens to Chaotic will just be they continually release more raids, people get the new shiny feel and will do it until the next patch, then each will steadily fade into obscurity, lifted almost exclusively by Discord groups, and then in 1-2 expansions down the line all of the rewards will just get funneled into newer content like Deep Dungeon v6.0, or Field Operations v5.0.
It does trike me as extremely odd that Chaotic has such a strict iLvl sync, minimum of 710 and max of 735, that's only 25 iLvls of "breathing room", when in terms of gameplay benefit, it is only as relevant as M4S.
If they move it to the Duty Finder at some point, then it should be possible to unsync in 8.0. However if it remains exclusively in the Raid Finder tab of the DF, you'll always have to do it the hard way.
I know this is off topic but..TGC Orlandeau Chaotic when?
