Spamming of Perception in the new Field Op

I have the issue of people being extremely obnoxious by spamming perception in the middle of CE's. I know to just block these people but outside of the forked tower the ability has little to no use and it is just being used by multiple people at a time to cause myself and others to be unable to see what's happening. I have all of my battle effects settings for players set to none and if they are in my party they are limited. i had 2 ideas myself that would be nice to see
1 being to either remove it all together from the overworld use and only be able to use in the forked tower.
2. allow it to be something that i can have turned off when "show none" or "show limited" is applied to either party, others, or none.
It is causing me so much grief i would really appreciate some options if there are any!! I do apologize if there is already a solution to this but it is driving me up a wall.

it happens like a snowball effect, one person does it to be silly and the next thing you know its like 4-6 people all spamming it at the ce's its such a headache i wish to just have the option to turn off the anim. its like when the linkshell emote was new and you'd hear groups of people spamming it

huh, never see it, people are doing this, it's probly someone in your party did it, because i never join any party in OC so everyone's effect is none for me

it was absolutely no one in my party doing it, I only join my friends parties or im solo

I have seen these folks a couple of times. Obnoxious, sure. They’re not as widespread as I’ve seen like the OP described though.

Still, I’m adding my support for this. The VFX for Perception/Trap Detection should only be visible when setting is set to “Show All”, or better yet, make it visible only to its caster.
