FFXIV stuttering at random on PS5

So I've been FFXIV on the PS5. At random intervals the game has like a micro stutter, it's to the point where I can't enjoy the game anymore. I have tried all the obvious methods like cleaning, rebuilding the database, using different resolutions, not using dynamic resolution and reinstalling and it keeps doing it.
I know it's not a console issue because none of my others games do it and it's often more intensive games than XIV too. Wondering if anyone has the same issue and found any fix.

Try the PS4 app and see if it's still there.

I tried the PS4 version on PS5 and absolutely no issues so it must be something wrong with the PS5 version.

If you're playing on the base PS5, try changing the resolution from 4K to 2K. It should help. That should keep you in the 55-60 fps range.

Make sure the PS5 app is updated. The issue you describe was common a while ago. Curious to see some people are still having issues with it. I used to be forced to use the PS4 app until they patched it.

I would simply continue to use PS4 app if it is a problem though. You don't really lose much.

Yeah. The PS4 app is perfectly fine for me so I'm gonna keep using that going forward.
