    I play at 150 ping, because I am Brazilian, and I am doing fine, I firmly believe that the sole difference is how absurdly deadly CEs are compared to normal content, and that Vul Stacks don't expire means you can't simply make a recovery and go into downward spiral, it's not like normal when you can recover, so it is exposing people's skill issue way more than normal.

    Seriously, triple digit ping, and still am able to clear ever CE without getting hit pretty reliably, some are dicier than others, but I can still do it, so I can't imagine latency is the issue here.

    This thread has never been about CEs somehow being shitty with lag. This has never been about using lag as an excuse for failure.
    This thread is specifically about the CE "On the Hunt" with the rotating AoE telegraphs, which do have serious issues of delays and inconsistencies between what you see and what the server sees. It's not that different from player positioning in relation to each other (if you play pvp and see someone behind you actually get the potion because the position update on the side of the player is absolutely catastrophic, you'll know what I mean).
    If SE cannot have something workable when it comes to real time positioning feedback, then just don't use mechanics that do heavily rely on it.

    For reference I play with sub 20-30 latency with no real issue anywhere, and all the people that have complained about this all have wildly different latencies. This is not about latency, although I don't doubt that the higher it is, the more impactful it will be for you, but the root of the problem lies elsewhere.

    Are you basing it off the visual of when it stops or the audio countdown?
    I always assumed it's cast time was in line with the 3rd count. So if you're still in the line when the 3rd count goes off. Even if it's not fully stopped, you still get hit.
    Without a cast bar, it's always kind of a guess as to when it actually goes off.
