Don't forget those legends running directly into death walls because their program can't figure out where to go lmao (you see it alot during the Company of Stone CE, always during same mech and they run into same part of deathwall)

People already use autorotation and some sort of bot/script to do boss fates.

Met 2 players standing still as war in one place using tomahawk 24/7 and move only when aoe under them (i assume scripts can interact with splatoon since movement is robotic).

These are unreportable valuable customers btw, boring grind content made for boring people doing something better than playing ff14 while playing it, like chit chat in discord.

I went to a pot-fate and didnt see any other player. Yet the mobs were pulled, tanked and got debuffs from an invisible player. The mobs had no player that they targeted, they just kept attacking the air and the air "fought back"

when the fate died, that invisible person got a pot, which also went invisible after ~1 second of chasing him

The instance only had 2 people which were tank + cannoneer inside, so it was easy to asume, who the bot was. Still very cringe

Well I finished job mastery on all the phantom jobs, so I think I'm about done with OC. I have almost everything from the shop, I have all the aetherspun silvers I need to upgrade a set of gear, but I find gold-farming to be completely uninteresting so I can't complete that upgrade and have nothing to use +1 gear on anyway. I don't do any of the game's higher difficulty content so Forked Tower goes in the bin with BA and DRS of things I'll probably never see. And that's it, there's nothing else to OC. See ya when they add more jobs.

JESUS. I have 1 PJob at max and one at level 5. I am level 19 and have all but 4 Demiatma. I feel like I pretty much no-lifed that content for the last week.

Having to do fate after fate, ce after ce in all other areas and get demimateria from them over and over again, but have absolutely none drop from the one area that I need it from, and the only area with 1 single CE, since fate drops are abysmal both in and out of OC.

The NEED a demimateria conversion, 2 to 1 or 3 to 1, idc. This system is just stupid and just makes the normal grind all that much more frustrating and like you are being punished more than anything.

This is more or less the issue that I guessed would've coming after couple of hours stepping into OC in day 1. The current goal is to get all the 7 gearsets and +1 all of them at the very least (I'm halfway thru that right now). But said goal was set because I've noticed how every incentive in OCs are pretty 'one and done.' Outside the new umbrella, I don't find much item that can be marketed to keep myself interested to come back in even after attaining all gearsets at +0.

FTB style of entry and presumably the difficulty isn't really my cup of tea. I very much prefer CLL/Dal styled of raid I'd do them in a heartbeat even if they reward you poorly like in their inception. So that's a big no from me, until maybe they softened the raid somewhat in future. Maybe...

If this is Bozja I'd probably go back to keep farming fragments. OC have nothing of similar.

I had an epiphany and realized if this is anything like Bozja I can just go back and do forked tower after the content is fully released and it'll be easier due to access to more jobs, gear, etc.

So I guess I'm done with OC for the time being.

I found my last atma outside doing Fates in DT areas, it was not too bad, like 5 hours over several days.

This has been the approach I'm taking too with the tower. I'm in no real rush to complete it so I'm just going to wait until there's more job and gear options, less instance prog, and the discords have streamlined their process/slowed down so there aren't 20 runs going all at once.

I was gone for 2 months, and it still took me 2 weeks after OC release to even bother logging in to try it out. I'm not sure if there's much good to be said, the entire thing is mid at best. So far here's what I noticed:

- They tried to recreate Eureka without the cool parts, aka no sense of danger.
- Fates spawn back to back so fast that there's very little room to breathe
- I noticed CE's spawn always 3 minutes after the last one has been finished, and that somehow gave me a sense of FOMO.
- Atma grind is meh, it's a one time thing anyway, after that it's another tome spam for the item
- Communication is nonexistent unless people are complaining about fates dying too fast and not waiting like in Eureka, lfg ce/fates or res plz
- CE's should've been like in Bozja, something you queue in rather than run there.
- The fact Forked Tower requires a premade like BA or DRS is criminal and a missed chance for it to be like Castrum/Dalriada or just normal DR.

Overall I give it a 3/10 rating, phantom jobs are pretty cool and just makes me wish all jobs where that dynamic rather than the slop we have.

I'll keep playing it so I can max out the phantom jobs, but I feel already exhausted and I don't even do much in the game either.
