I have no idea why there isn't a normal and a savage version of Forked Tower like we had with DR. Why does everything have to cater to savage tier raiders?

That's not even the main issue. The main issue is that due to this ridiculous entry method, you will never be able to prog it.
Tbh the Fates arent even worth it, compared to CE and so often the CE spawns its actually not worth the time to do fates
Who do you suppose provides direct feedback to the director/devs during FF14 media tours? SE keeps "content creators" happy because they provide cheap advertising for the product.

I farmed fates to get gil during the content lull. Imagine the thrill of getting to farm MORE FATES on repeat. If 8.0 doesnt deliver I think Im gonna pull the plug.

I dislike Eureka but enjoying OC so far. I think it address some of the issues in Eureka
1. I like the fast pace FATE/CE spawn rate, FATE need proper rework on scaling though. Since this is the most effcient way to level up both Knowledge and Phantom job. I just ignore FATE/CE when I have something else to do or need a break
2. Yeah, tank role is the only safe option even you know the fight well. When players numbers increase, I found the latency issues get worse, got hit even way outside the marker and could be quite punishing for DPS role.
3. Again, Phatom job is one of my biggest disappointment in OC, lose all the flexibility we had in other field exploration.
4. Have to disagree on this, Eureka and Bozja are not as accessable as OC, some alternative method of obtaining items from those area is a good move. May be put it in those coffer required OC currency, but more accessable in different content is good
5. The very reason I do not do DRS...and here we go SE did it again. Worst to get a full 48 ppl in it is more RNG than any MMO

I was having a pretty miserable time on Dancer until I switched to a healer myself, then I finally started to have a bit more fun with it. I am still using Knight with it for the extra mitigation until I'm a bit more familiar with all the CE's and Fates though.
Completely agreed on the constant go-go-go-feeling though, but Bozja felt like that to me as well. We're always either rushing somewhere, or scanning the map to start rushing again, the only time people take or have a moment to chat is when we're waiting on top of the CE spawn. Fates are a mess though, even trying to grab a chest on the way or getting stuck on a piece of geometry makes it so you can barely get a hit in on a Fate sometimes.
I'm fine with the frequency of Fate and CE spawns itself, but I guess the real problem is with the Fate scaling? If it's supposed to scale to the amount of people that killed it last time then it really doesn't get a chance to scale up because it's dead before many people get there, so it's always stuck in low player scaling? Is that what's happening?

Look at FFXI. That game is getting extremely good again with Fujito in charge. They are in the process of revamping Besieged, Limbus is getting completely remade, we got new content with Sortie recently, and they are planning on revamping more and more old content to make it relevent and fun again. They are also talking with their players and taking our suggestions into consideration and then thinking about the best ways to make changes that keep the spirit of the game alive as well as keep their players happy and active. All while doing so with just a handful of devs.
It's not Square Enix at fault for what is wrong with FFXIV, it's the person in charge of FFXIV. That was made doubly apparent with FFXVI.

I have no issue with the manic nature of the zone, including the CE fights. However, without a proper healer, DPS have issues. Unless they give up job exp and keep on a job like Knight or use Occult Potions on Chemist often, it is hard to keep DPS alive.
Square Enix: "We saw the footage from the numerous Vtubers and streamers with a plethora of fans geared up and ready to go, coordinated and functional and they all agree it is amazing content. We see no reason to improve. Thank you for playing our game."
