    Occult Crescent FATEs scalings

This is just my own feedback and opinion . The scaling. Correct me if im wrong.. Less people takes longer, more people it goes by frickin quickly (makes me froze and glide around and my game delay with abilities i can barely do anything) its been day 4 i been off and on taking breaks in between cus I don't want to burn myself out and still haven't finished my first relic for my ninja main lol

Anyways, sometimes i got to FATEs even with mount speed, it was gone too fast it makes me not wanna go in and do them for demiatmas and just do DT fate zones for it and suffer which i don't mind waiting around for fates to pop. Thats the only thing that grinds my gear. Thank you.

Yep they have the same problem where they're going down way too fast like when Bozja first dropped.

The FATEs are hard to get to in time. They were in Bozja as well. The strategy in Bozja was to hang around in the middle so you were ready to go in the right direction. It was also fairly common for them to spawn in a set order, although I'm not sure it was strictly guaranteed. The strategy in OC is to wait at the camp Aetheryte then port to the aethernet nearest the FATE that spawns.

They should scale up based on how many fought it (or one linked to it) the previous time. The problem is that a different amount of people may be there the next time (more or less), causing it to be either overscaled or underscaled, especially when some people only fight FATEs if it's convenient due to being near a CE or near a quest objective.

If you freeze and glide it's likely due to your game struggling to load things like textures and animations fast enough. This usually addressed by having an SSD to load files faster. However, it can also be caused by having been tabbed out and the game dumping your game memory into a page file, too much RAM being used by other programs, or connection issues.

You can reduce the animations on screen like this:
    /bfx self all
    /bfx party simple
    /bfx other off
/characterconfig > Control Settings > Character > "Effectives While in Motion": Show All
/systemconfig > Graphics Settings > scroll down to Movement Physicks: set all of them to Full

Now you will only see your own animations, or important animations in your party (such as healer bubbles that you should stand in), and characters shouldn't glide.

I just commented on this in another thread, but I genuinely think whatever formula they're using for HP scaling got reversed somehow - I was waiting for a CE to finish before pulling a nearby fate, before the pull the boss had about 3.1m HP, after everyone from the CE showed up and pulled it, the boss' HP went down to around 2.7m.
Meanwhile, another fate gets pulled by only 4-5 people, and it takes over 10m to clear because the boss has over 45m HP somehow..

How do you know how much HP the bosses have? Is there a setting somewhere?

There are... illegal magicks that allow you to see the values directly, I am sure Jaltaer simply knows someone who uses them, and they were told through Discord or such, and didn't majorly slip the tongue and forgot that's not a vanilla setting.

Yes the scaling seems to be completly broken right now, when a train of 40 people runs around the bosses die in 5 seconds, and you can barely even land a single hit, but when you run around with only a few people they can take minutes to die.

Yeah, they get deleted so quickly that I often don't even manage to get there on time before it drops dead and this is me teleporting to the nearest aetheryte immediately upon seeing the FATE pop.
