Demiatma drop rates are unacceptable

Endwalker's method was better. I'm sorry, but this new system is terrible and I refuse to participate in it. I spent 6 hours doing OC with my guild. It was not fun and not a single one. I will not play on your hamster wheel. If I wanted rng progression I would play WoW.

6 hours of zero progression for my relic doesn't make me want to continue with it. I'm not one of the people who asked for this. I was perfectly fine with Endwalker's version. Maybe change the steps so it's not the same for each one, but being rewarded for doing anything I want to do is 100% better than forcing me into two gameplay types. It's worse in every conceivable way.

Also, I'm not going to debate it. I'm just not going to do it and resent the game more and more. It's no skin off my back if I never play again and stuff like this is pushing me towards it more and more.

I'm a casual player. I don't grind. I don't have most of the achievements or trophies, I don't even have half of my jobs maximized. My WHM level is 15 for Twelve's sake!

I mostly go solo in OC and don't even take part of FATE trains, like ever.

Usually I participate of 3 CEs and leave to do something else, like trial or normal raid roulette, two or so society quests.

I'm saying this so you have a notion of how casually I play this game.

And yet, I got all demiatmas just doing some CEs, a few FATEs. Even before OC level 15 I already had all demiatmas.
Took maybe a week, maybe a little more.

I inclined to believe you guys saying you are having a hard time aren't really trying.

Btw, I said a week playing like 1-3 hours a day. Mostly with a second screen watching Kamen Rider Build and Chicago Fire.

That's cool but I have almost 5 phantom jobs leveled and still no relic. Some people really put in a ton of effort to get rewarded and don't, you put in minimal effort and got rewarded. Why you mad you had put in an 1/8 the effort of others just to think you put in the same effort?

Relics aren't meant to be done in 6 hours. If you want that, you can buy a crafted weapon from the market board.

Of course not, but after 6 hours if there's no progression at all besides OC stuff then what are we doing? I honestly second-guessed it and googled how to get the atmas because it was so bad it gaslit me into thinking I was somehow doing it wrong. Also, you quote people when you talk about them.

But it's crazy I quit long enough to become a returner and this garbage has already got me wanting to unsubscribe.

Heck, instead of 'Dawntrail Zones', we've now got six expansions: ARR, HW, SB, SHB, EW, DT. Why did they not have each of the Demiatmas be linked to an expansion (blue = HW, red = SB, purple = SHB, etc), and have FATEs in EVERY zone be revitalized, instead of having everyone cram into Shaaloani like sardines? That way, we'd also cause a revitalization of the boss FATEs, like The Eyes Have It in Coerthas Central, the Tarrasque one in Forelands, the FATE chains that grant achievements in SHB, allowing newer players a chance to get assistance with getting those achievements/rewards in a more organic way

They actually have made us farm old expansions before. Shadowbringers had us farm Heavensward and Stormblood areas. The Heavensward relics still make us farm FATEs in Heavensward areas. And ARR relics still make us farm them in ARR areas. But the effect is only temporary as less people do the relics.
