    Crescent FATEs are overtuned and needing to run to CEs was a galaxybrain choice

    I love exploratory content. It is, by far, the thing I enjoy most in this game. I did months of Eureka. I did months of Bozja. I am no newbie to Field Content nor do I dislike it, so I feel like I've got enough experience to say y'all really dropped the ball on some of these options. I'm not even going to touch the insane Atma grind in depth, which so far has been ~7 hours for 6 atmas, none of which have managed to drop from a single FATE vs CE.

    What's really grinding my gears though is the amount of time an average FATE is taking to clear vs the absolute insane decision to make people need to run to CEs vs simply joining queue like Bozja. The only reason I even broke down to decide making this thread is because I missed four CEs in a row just because FATEs take so long AND half the community decides to run off if a CE pops up to make it take even LONGER.

    I'm not really inclined to think the ideal thing here is just to sit at base and wait for CEs to pop, but that seems to be the only thing worth doing if FATEs take so long, NEVER drop any Atmas anyway, and have a minuscule reward in comparison. Strongly, strongly urging fATEs to be tuned lower and to return CE joining to the same method it was in Bozja. Flabbergasted anyone on staff thought this was an improvement in the name of some kind of "immersion" or who knows what.

    CE>Fates. Missing a CE is worst from a time perspective than missing a fate. When there are no CE up. Fates last less than 30s.

    I do agree that not being able to queue into a CE like Bozja is very bad and a step backwards.

    FATEs taking long? Are you kidding me? If I try to start traveling to one, they're dead by the time I press my forwards key... I have plenty of time to make CEs in contrast.

    I personally am a huge fan of removing the tp to CE's. Seeing the huge group of people running over makes me happy. It also helps with collecting random treasure chests along the way.
    That being said, I 100% understand why you would dislike the removal of it since a removal of a quality of life change willl always be seen as a negative.

    As for the fates, I'm not sure if it's the scaling or if it's just certain ones but I've seen some get instantly deleted while others can take as long as a CE. Normally I've had the time to do 1 or 2 fates between CE's.

    Another point about the fates. If it is one of those that takes forever, there's nothing stopping you from running away after starting to go to a CE and still get credit for the fate. It can be seen as a dick move but it is more efficient.

    "Imagine having to run in an MMO". Can't imagine, this is why we can't have nice things and they keep dumbing down the game and every zone has like 10 000 aetherytes and no danger in the world. Because goodness gracious someone wants to be done with things in 2 minutes and they cater to that

    honestly my main complain is actually fate dying way to fast because now most people minmax so sometime you reach it it's a 10% that's pretty much it. other then that I rather enjoy OC

    Totally disagree, I love that they removed the auto teleport to CEs. That always made Bozja feel so automated and empty. Now you see people running to the event location and goofing around while waiting for it to pop, plus there's some decision making in planning where to go and how to get there on time.

    Fate scaling is wonky, with low player numbers they take a while and with high numbers they vanish in seconds.

    Until you are doing it since 3 months and get sick of running around the same place.
