No, this is definitely false. You would need to open ~1m chests to get the achievement which would take ~50,000 hours assuming 20 chests an hour which is generous. No way square expected that.

You need 100.000 chests, not 1m, the droprate is 1%. You can open about 30-40 per hour, so thats 2500 hours of grind. Its bad but still doable. Winning 3k frontline matches is more time consuming

it is 1% per chest, which adds up in the wrong odds even further....

it is like you can have a gather point at 99% and fail to get some 3 out of 4 attempts....

Also when removing materia from gear that is supposed to be 40% it is not when you add it up.

i dont think its a waste, because theres nothing else of value to buy in this game. Whoever has 2b+ doesnt care about anything on the market

I mean... It's a waste considering that a lot of people turn titles off and don't see them anyway. You can do a lot more with that kind of gil then that.

Fair enough. I was actually interested if, when North Horn comes out, the carrots had a different way of obtaining and this achievement was slightly easier.

This is like a 1% achievement meant for the ultra-rich rich and avg players will just be happy to sell fate carrots for 2m even if it's like a 1% drop rate. There are a lot of other easier achievements to do in the meantime, like I'm still slowly doing mount collections.

I mean even if you were to somehow buy all carrots, the sheer amount of time that it takes to finish this is absurd. So more likely that this is made for those who play 24/7 or bots. Because we all know that a lot of people are botting achievements with plugins.

Very few achievements are widly botted with plugins. The three I can think of are melding materia, 20k hordes, and leveling trusts.

Ok also maybe the crafting ones.

But most of the others are likely legit.

1k carrots is actually not horrible provided you have 1k carrots. There are generally several spawned at a time, i imagine you could do like 50 an hour making this a 20 hour grind. Bad but not nearly as bad as many others. I don't imagine this will be botted.

1% is extremely generous, lol. Right now it's a 0.006% achievement according to lalachievements which is really something because it doesn't really involve a huge time sink to get. Most people who would actually want the title probably got it by now.
