And it's not about your feelings at all either, but here we are.
Anyway, so we know that the argument for removing the genderlock entirely would be that in doing so, that would provide players with even more options for their video game characters glams.
Now, what is the actual argument against that?
Why should they NOT remove the genderlock from glams?
Why should players have less to choose from, why is more variety a bad idea?
Can you or anyone else give a straight forward on-topic answer that does not have any feelings, personal politics, or unconfirmable speculation?
Ok you wannna play that game? fine. And it's not about your feelings at all either, but here we are.

There are things that should hold some value, like 2B and or you know, the Brides outfit that is for Brides. And Males dont really should wear a Bikini... having unisex gear is boring, they make one gear for 4 thats easier to fit unlike cute or cool stuff that fits the gender. its 2x the work for the devs to make female & male versions and fix them to suit both, so overall wed just get less stuff and more neutral one... And there is tons of gear thats for both genders. Now, what is the actual argument against that?
Because for some gear it was there for a reason - for some it was just silly. But no you male roe should not wear Ryne's dress. Why should they NOT remove the genderlock from glams?
Because its work that for huge parts trolls would use. Because if you want female cloths got play female in a fantasy game. Because it would be much more work for a very small % of players and as already said, ultimately would reduce the amount of already too few gear we'd get.Why should players have less to choose from, why is more variety a bad idea?
...but ik thats not good enough for you, so bye <3
My bunboi got married in the bride's dress and was a beautiful bride, thank you very much.
Also men wear speedos which is exactly the same panty bottoms as a bikini just without the top.
I say male roes should wear Ryne's dress. Since you "want to play that game." More male roes in Ryne's dress!
Trolls are not the majority of people wanting ungenderlocked gear. I do not have to play a female character to wear "female" clothes in Final Fantasy 14, actually, as the devs have already made a tremendous effort to ungenderlock things. It is not a small amount of players, or they would not have started doing it.
It is not reducing the amount of gear we are getting. We literally got two bouncer outfits, with just the holsters being the difference. two shirts, two pants. We got Wintertide that has a neutral top that has no reason to be genderlocked even before they ungenderlocked things, and we got a skirt and pants with that, so people can wear whatever they want. Etc etc. There's literally not less gear. In a 50/50 scenario, if every piece of gear had a different fem and masc model, and a person played a fem character, they are literally locked out of 50% of the gear in the game for glam purposes, and vice versa. THAT is, quite literally, reducing the amount of gear an individual person has access to. So.
There isn't any reason why outfits can't be cute or cool without being locked. Maybe it takes more work, but SE is already compensated by subscriptions and sales. For me, I'd rather have outfits that I know that I can wear. Locked gear that I can't wear is useless no matter how cute or cool it is. We can ask them to do more or change priorities, it's why forums like this exist.having unisex gear is boring, they make one gear for 4 thats easier to fit unlike cute or cool stuff that fits the gender. its 2x the work for the devs to make female & male versions and fix them to suit both, so overall wed just get less stuff and more neutral one... There are no female clothes. The rules are made up and change on a whim. You can wear anything in real life. I don't know how you estimated the number of players wanting unlocks, but it doesn't seem small to me, not that I think the size matters that much in deciding to lock or not, nor is it true that people have to be firmly in one side or not. Some people may not mind the locks in most cases because it matches their sense of aesthetics but still be frustrated with a few select pieces being locked. Unlocking all gear helps them too.Because if you want female cloths got play female in a fantasy game. Because it would be much more work for a very small % of players and as already said, ultimately would reduce the amount of already too few gear we'd get.
lol totally agree my male roe is in Eorzea to look as ridiculous as possible and if that means a big frilly pink dress then so be it lolMy bunboi got married in the bride's dress and was a beautiful bride, thank you very much.

Correct, that's not good enough for me.
1. It's a game to stay on-topic, noted.
2. Your feelings

I'm not trying to attack any of you, I'm just pointing out that none of you are actually staying on-topic, nor are you making any arguments.
I'm asking you if the sky is blue and you're telling me your feelings of inner turmoil over the possible implications behind the rainbow-what color is the sky?
It's a one answer question. Very straight forward. No room for error, yet error is all I get. I don't know if it's a literacy issue..?
"Why should they NOT remove the genderlock from glams? Why should players have less to choose from, why is more variety a bad idea?"
I'm not being offensive. I'm being straight forward. I'm not letting you derail with politics. This is a video game forum about a video game.
If you had a real solid answer, then it would be easy. But it wasnt easy, was it? That was a struggle.
Thank you for your time.
so if I follow such logic huh this thread is based on someone feeling and now other are oppressing others feeling making it well actually even worst. so everyone who is tired of that have to be quiet and accept people feeling if not well suck to be you isn't enjoy the everything we forced on you and will keep going!
Freedom of expression is a real thing, being weirdly judgemental towards gender non-conforming people is bigotry. This isn't rocket science.
