A fool only stays a fool if they refuse to listen and learn. If you listen and learn then foolishness can turn into wisdom.

As my title said I'd rather gender locked than gender nuetral. Cause damn after yunweta gear how fending ended up with the best one that was literally designed for female use is beyond me. All this gender nuetral gear shows me how sorely lacking the creativity in this game has gone. SE needs to get they head outta they ass and stick to making fun and immersive experience rather than this pandering to 1% of player base thing they are doing. Weird they are but eh it is what it is.
You open the door theres nothing in sight. You close the door wondering whats in sight. But lets be honest its probably gonna just let you down.
No I want more genderlocked gear if anything, I like there being more visible variety between player choices. Thanks to the no genderlocking complaints we have been getting boring unisex gearsets that don't look good at all. I understand people's frustration when one set looks better than the other, I myself would have preferred to use some male versions of older sets, specifically some of the neo ishgardian sets (I don't mean to say the female versions look bad both look great). But this only leads to SE doing unisex gear with no variety instead of letting people chose.
Also sorry not sorry kind of tired of seeing epic funny xd male hroths wearing pastel pink thongs.
To quote OP:
Seriously, people who want to do that as a joke can already do that, they don't even need crossdressing to do that, there is enough dyeable male-only tangas in the game as is, all this does is to make it harder for people who are genuine about wanting to wear these items.Lastly, before someone comes and makes the, “I don't want to see a male Roe in underwear” comment. The 2B tights already exist, the ship has sailed. I don't see how genderlocking new gear would prevent someone from dressing scantily when we already have that option right now. Also, most importantly, I don't think player expression should be limited because some people can't handle male thigh exposure. In general, I don't think a form of character expression [Group A] likes should be restricted because [Group B] does not like or care for it-- the player should be able to freely craft their character without being limited by archaic gender restrictions.
That's why the request is to give us *both* version options for all genders. No I want more genderlocked gear if anything, I like there being more visible variety between player choices. As someone who likes playing a female character but with more masc clothing I 100% agree.

The whole point of these outfits seem to be masculine and feminine versions of the same outfit style. Modifying the feminine one on male characters defeats the point.
It's not remotely my taste for either gender, but it should be there for the people who want it.

In my opinion there should be a wide variety of masculine and feminine gear, and it should be available to everyone. (In this case, since it's a cosplay reward for ffv characters, it's extra unfair to change its appearance for some characters. If we prefer a masculine look, we have two other rewards to choose.) I like that some sexy fantasy outfits exist in the game, but to say only women should wear them feels like an insult to women, and a condescension to men.

Just offer both to both genders. The male version doesn't even look anything like the female version. It's like it belong to a completely different glam.
If they are going to do this, I also think they need to list it in the item description and be up front if they are using gear like this in promotion.
I don't get the inconsistency with this considering sometimes they don't do this. How do they choose? It feels so arbitrary.
