I'm not talking about the people with "different fashion opinions" I'm talking about the ones who are outright attacking/insulting people who aren't straight or cis. (Who keep getting their posts deleted I might add, so clearly the mods don't like their tone or input either.)

I'm not obligated to tolerate their intolerance, and I'm not the bigot for telling homophobes/transphobes to STFU and GTFO because their opinions and voting are part of why my country (USA) continues to be such an embarrassing craphole.

There's been a whole lot of intolerance from both sides in this thread (and the other similar one). Both heterophobia and homophobia, I agree none of it is ok (if people outright attack people personally for who they are, their comment should be removed as it's not about the forum topic).

No one should have to tolerate intolerance either, but wanting to outright silence people and remove their ability to vote, to circumvent democracy - would be the highest form of intolerance and a fast route to tyranny. It would be becoming what one claims they are fighting against. The great thing about free speech is everyone on this thread straight, gay, green, red, blue can be an A hole whether they want to or not, and whether they realize it or not. If they want to, others will probably point it out or ask why (or comment removed). And if someone doesn't realize they have offended someone, they can be made aware. I remember that US politician RFK Jr said his family would sit around the dinner table and with different political opinions; be able to find common ground by communicating.

Also I've never come across a single person (IRL) who has issue with who someone sleeps with or is attracted to.** Any grievances or concerns such people have often stem from their own ability to be left alone and to live peacefully, apparently without that being impeded upon. It's like a blame game of who is stepping on who's toes. **I'm not suggesting by the way that such people do not exist, they certainly will. I'm with you on that (and would defend you if someone bullied you for who you fancy). Just remember life is never so black and white as 'you' and 'them' or 'good' and 'bad', humans are too complex and with too many experiences to be categorized like this. The only people the idea of 'you' and 'them' benefits are nefarious governments and corporations.

Furthermore it is curious how you single out men dressing like that but are probably fine with females dressing scantily? The hypocrisy and sexism in that is mind boggling.

Personally if it was just up to me, I also wouldn't wanna see men dressed like that. Same with women who I find ugly. But I want to dress how I want without being judge so I give everyone else the same courtesy.
But not wanting to see someone that you aren't attracted to be sexualized seems normal to me. Doesn't have to be hypocrisy or sexism. Just a preference.

Did you not just say people defending lgbt people should ignore comments that are anti lgbt and now you’re attacking people defending lgbt people instead of just ignoring it? Get real, you’re just mad people are defending lgbt people. Otherwise you’d have followed your own advice and ignored it.

I said to not make it political. This is in actual topic of the thread here. Both people who agree or disagree are allowed to voice their opinions.
I never even mentioned anything about LGBTQ at all. Stop trying to make all things political.
