Hopefully they re-balance this new content. I read ARR relics at the atma stage did take most people over a month to get one atma, but that did improve a lot after.
RNG is literally a pillar of rpgs since forever. How it's implemented differs. There's a reason why many people are turned off this game's gameplay (and I emphasize gameplay), because it's supremely repetitive with no excitement. They're banking on "encounter design" which can be fine, but then the remainder of the casual stuff is too bland.
