Choose features in Cottage Wall house

Simple, I wish I could choose windows, doors, and fences with the country cottage walls house. At minimum, I wish I could choose the windows and door we see from the inside. It's a lovely look outside, but indoors, it clashes. If I could even just get darker colors on the door and windows, I'd be happy. But instead, I'm stuck with this. It also makes no sense to me that I can't change the fence to the hedge one. I know that the house is all special and specific, and different from other houses, but I still would like freedom with it, and the other houses like it.

I swear, if it turns out I can and there's just something stopping me from doing so, I will be so embarrassed, but I can't find anything on it.

You're not missing anything. All of the special exterior are as-is and you can't change out the smaller details like windows and fences. You can only do that with the basic walls.

I'm with ya. Or at least create an option for certain types of light to come through the doors and windows - warm, cool, etc, to match whatever windows I've placed. Even better, I wish we could perma-set the time of day in our homes. I sometimes want it to always be dark, or have light coming from a specific direction.
