Occult Crescent: South Horn quest "A Common Thread" / Occult Record entry is blank

Steps:
1. Progress to the Occult Crescent: South Horn quest "A Common Thread."
2. There is a Survey Point to interact with at the above coordinates. I interacted with the Survey Point and it disappeared. The Survey Point is supposed to add an entry to the player's Occult Record about the surrounding area. The quest requires this entry (plus two others) to be listed in your Occult Record in order to progress. However, no such entry was added and the Survey Point has permanently disappeared, making further progress impossible.
3. I saw a similar bug report listed in "Insufficient Information" about a different Survey Point with similar behavior. It is likely that there is a similar cause for both of these incidents.

A potential fix I might have is that each “city” has two points that count for that quest, like for the mhach one they’re is the one overlooking the town itself then another overlooking the pyramid in the far south.

For the one that for you is glitched have you tried finding that city’s “other point” and seeing if that fixes your issue

I have found all the known Survey Points. I have all of the corresponding Occult Records except the one mentioned in my bug report. So, it appears I am stuck until this issue is resolved.
