I think this has been the most miserable day I've had playing in years. Going on 7 hours of doing these Fates and not a single Demiatma to speak of.

That was me with the 2.0 Atmas. I did probably 15 hours over the course of a week and I had zero. My buddy playing about as long as I had been had almost two sets. I was so pissed off by it I unsubscribed for about two or three months I can't remember.

Whoever decided rng decideds progression needs to be fired immediately.

Yeah, I'm already ready to quit completely. I unlocked the quests immediately once I logged in at about 8:30 this morning. It's now almost 6:00 pm and I still don't have a single piece. I just don't care anymore. Great job SE, you made some more amazingly "fun" content gatekept behind RNG.

I remember back in 2.0 saying there should've been a progression bar that if by any chance of fate, you had really bad luck you didn't spend too long on one objective and I got made fun of for wanting it handed to me. I'm sorry but 8 hours of guaranteed grind is more rewarding and more fulfilling than 8 hours of rng grind because you could spend 8 hours and get absolutely nothing. And that's death. That is the total death of a system. I wouldn't be mad at you if you never touched it again. You're only being sane with your free time.

The atma drop rate has been abysmal. In 6 hours I received one. ONE. I have a goal to get every relic in game. But this is making want to skip DT relics all together. I usually don't mind grinding too much. I'll take it easy and do a little at a time, but I really wasn't expecting to see ARR levels of RNG for the relics. I haven't tried to grind FATEs in the overworld to see if the rate is better though. Maybe I'll have better luck there.

Another thing is the CEs. I find them really fun. Challenging, but doable. What I don't like is they have the same 2-3 minute timer to get to the CE that Bozja has. But guess what. You have to run there instead of an instant teleport. It made sense in Eureka to have the player run there. The way Eureka works now is you are either there to help spawn or you have 5-7 minutes to get there as the community waits. I understand it's the first day, so people are a little impatient. But having to run there means they want to rush. Almost 2 full parties were left dead at a regular FATE because a CE had popped on the opposite end of the map. Since I was still below lvl 5 in knowledge, I ported back to camp and then went to pick everyone up.

Currently, Occult Crescent has the same feeling as Bozja community. Everybody for themselves, and it really bums me out. For Eureka it got better... but Bozja never changed. I really hope OC doesn't get stuck in selfishness like Bozja did.

I actually did not know that. Good to know for sure!
Not a huge fan of just using tomes once it's done but at least the terrible drop rate makes sense with this.

Grind and RNG are not the same thing, so you might be the one who needs to shut up.

Why even bother? Any 2 dollar game on Steam will be a better experience than this rehashed jap grind trash. I mean, I get that at this point some people are literally living in this game but, no.
