Sorry but its trash now. I wish they'll go back to ARR dailiesOMG I hated this one so much. Walk through half of sylph territory with 0 chance to not be detected by whatever annoying mob gets in the way.
Personally I'm fully ok with the tribe (or whatever they're called nowadays) dailies. You do a handful of quests each day, fill up a bar, get some more tidbits of story, XP, a Triple Triad card, a minion, and finally a mount. That's my sort of progression, and I like it.
Oh you weren’t around when the only beast tribes were sylphs and amaljaa.
Yeah they have destroyed the beast tribe quests(I ain’t calling whatever they decided to change it because of western influence localization said it’s offensive)We get 3 beast tribes,
One for crafting which have you actually do some crafting and can be challenging at times.
One for gathering where you gather materials which can be relaxing.
One for Battle Jobs where you talk to npcs...
Which one is off?
But seriously, can we get a beast tribe where we actually get to do some combat?? Smh lol
I sooo miss the dailies from ARR
You wanna know why they nerfed to the ground? Cuz ppl complained about "to long to complete, to tedious".
I'm not saying the players are fully at fault here, the dev team is pretty lazy and uncreative in quest design (just look at FFXVI) - it started with complaints.
everytime i check the forums i always see this user complaining endlessly
if this game makes you this miserable, please leave it and move on, this is so much energy on a video game
This issue is sort of a double edged sword.
As yes, on one hand they are boring, but on the other hand nobody really wants to spend exorbitant amounts of time doing dailies when they could be doing far more interesting things with their time.
I suppose you could argue in this sense that sometimes less can result in more.. e.g., fewer dailies/weeklies but more substantive.
then they shouldn't, and they would not need to. Feels like everyone in this game has some sort of OCD, that forces them to slog through content they hate, so they can get some useless mount they will probably never use.
Dailies in this game aren't needed for anything. I do them for the story as they are usually funny, but it would be nice if they actually felt like real content and not a afterthought.
Eh, yes and no... These dailies/weeklies still form part of the core content loop, so in one way or another you're still pretty much heavily encouraged to do them (even if you don't want to do them), e.g., whether this is roulettes for levelling up jobs... Doing dailies to accrue Tomestones to purchase tome gear, or doing your crafter beast tribes to get that one material passively to craft your final set of DoH/L gear, or doing your custom deliveries... Or Aetheryte camping for A-Rank S-Rank.then they shouldn't, and they would not need to. It's all well and good doing it if you enjoy it, e.g., story or for the giggles, but they still ultimately form part of the core content loop.
Just to be clear... I don't entirely disagree, I just think they need to be fewer and more substantive, as opposed to just this bloat list, and not only that, but if the idea is to make them more substantive, then really a lot of the underlying systems also need to be looked at, because the problem you'd end up having is that you've got these nice daily content types, or have tried to funnel them into being actual content, whilst they are ultimately still built on a system that is treated like an afterthought (e.g., Like how long do you want to funnel things into FATEs), or has just been reduced to a hollow state... This is a problem I have for example when content like expert recipes for crafting (I would consider myself a target audience for expert recipes, but the underlying crafting abilities are still very hollow), just to give an example.
I mean idk, I was talking specifically about beast tribes. To me they always felt useless in terms of progression, and there wasn't much value to them once you had them maxed out. I'm not really into crafting or gathering, so I can't speak for how useful they are for those, so fair enough if they are. Usually my only weekly goals has been capping tomes, and that is easily achieved by doing anything else. I still feel having a bit more actual gameplay involved would be nice for the tribes tho. They could compensate for that with more rewards.Eh, yes and no...
