I seem to recall they removed the animation and code for the inertia involved in the stopping motion etc. for 2.0 so that we could move quicker to react to certain attacks and battle styles. It's a good trade off if you ask me.

The only lacking animation that bothers me right now is when panning the camera while standing still and the character has no movement even though they are rotating on a single spot. I hope they add some foot movement at least...perhaps make the character's head turn in the direction you are panning the camera...Though this does not have to do with this thread so I will hush lol.
