    Targeting Boss inside Cutscene Circle

New to these forums so this is my first post and I can't seem to find anything about my question anywhere else. Sometimes when I queue into a duty and the group is confined to the cutscene circle, some members of the party are already able to target the boss. However, I am completely unable to target the boss until the cutscene circle is dispersed. Is there a setting I'm unaware of, or is a console thing?

It is possible to target things outside of the cutscene circle, but it's difficult. The reason it's difficult is because it's a "wall" and the game doesn't let you click a target through walls. However, sometimes if you pan the camera down and jump you can click something at the very top of this invisible wall.

It's possible they used a button such as "target closest enemy" or a third party tool. It's hard to be sure.

I just jump and hit tab. It usually works. Then i can set my focus target before the action starts and be ready to go.

Turning the camera left/right and tab targeting works, at least on a gamepad.

    Targeting
    Target Nearest Enemy

Set that keybind to something close to your resting hand position because you'll use it a lot. Also useful and good to set to close to resting position for similar reasons is Target Nearest NPC or Object.
