Bot problem is now even worse.

Bot problem really became worse when now they are joining to alliance raids through duty finder.

When today when i did alliance raid duty roulette and i got The World of Darkness alliance raid and there was 2 bots with exact same look that didn't move to combat area at all and when they got transfered to combat area, they simply stood there for moment doing nothing and when they started to move they both moved exactly same way and didn't evade any of AoE attacks and when those bots died they respawned to starting point immediately.
In final boss of he World of Darkness alliance raid both these bots simply just ran at wall for few minutes doing nothing else.

This is very alarming state of bot problem in FFXIV and FFXIV devs really needs to do something about this bot problem before entire duty finder is filled with bots.

Theyll never do anything more than the usual weekly bans where bots just get replaced next day. Understandable on SEs part though, why sink money into a heavier preventive service, someone will find always find a work around...

Nothing will ever get done about this.

It's not even just a problem indicative of their sheer lack of stance towards just botting, but everything third-party to the game generally speaking.

You've literally had people on the forums casually bragging about it.

The only thing we're ever getting is the next disappointed father speech the next time they elect to address a problem that seeps out into articles, journals, etc., and just hoping that it, like every other issue they've ever had just gets faded into obscurity.

Ignoring people until they lose the energy to be upset is basically SE's way of handling things, as long as plugins exist these issues will exist and SE most definitely has no intention on getting rid of plugins.

They are required to do it for the MSQ if they don't skip. It didn't used to be required. So the bot problem would not be noticed as much before that. However, now that they have to do Crystal Tower or skip, you are just noticing a problem that has always existed.

I think I was in the same raid, was it the two BLM lalas?

If bots (or players really) cause no damage in a fight, they should allow players to kick them even if the loot is still being rolled on.

The automatic Lalafell bots with nonsensical double barrel names. The ones that move under the ground attacking mobs and teleporting about, then pop up only to speak to MSQ NPCs, are particularly annoying.

When trying to do anything that requires killing mobs, they really mess things up.

Though if you wanna see something funny, watch them teleport to the giant cyclops FATE in Coerthas. That thing does more to stop bots than SE/CBSIII.

A lot of the lalafell bots seem to be blue mages these days for whatever reason. I flew through Coerthas Central Highlands and almost every other ice sprite was in combat with a blue mage bot directly beneath it underground with a gibberish name and the typical default male plainsfolk appearance.
