I have nothing else going on, so having a virtual item someone else doesn't, fills the void just a little bit.

fun is what's cruelly missing in the game right now. Cosmic exploration was nice for a couple of weeks, but as soon as the novelty faded, it just became frustrating, not really interesting, and basically the opposite of fun.

What you did a couple of month ago for funs is exactly what should be fun to you now. If you left because you didn't have fun anymore and unsubbed for a while because of that, I fear you resubbed too early.

That's the joy of taking breaks. When the itch to play again strikes, even running dungeons can be fun again! I've wrapped my avatar up in a new outfit and put on a new persona. The experience is more novel now.

I recommend giving it a try if the game has become so loathsome. Have fun above all things!

Ive recently came back from a 6 month break so I've got loads to catch up on.
I've got the same approach as jeeqbit. I focus on mount collecting. So right now I'm splitting between A/S hunts, fate farming, lvling (mostly via fates and society quests), getting points in cosmic exploration and Gil making.
I had given all of my Gil away when I stopped playing since I thought I wouldn't come back. So for Gil, treasure maps are always a good time, solo or grouped.
I need to get my butt back into doing extremes and maybe savage but I always suck with harder grouped content.

I would rather replay the ealry MSQ more than anything else. Couldnt care less about raiding/pvp.

Uhmm.. erp and venues? I mean yeah you can mod the game like one of those abominations from Skyrim SE and .. well.. RP? lets not forget that ERP and venues and yeah.. well woopsie.
