In that case, random choice is mandatory and doesn't let us chose anymore in the other section. Same goes with dungeons.
If you open the dutyfinder menu, there should be a button at the bottem left of the window that says "clear all" or something along those lines. If you press that, any previous duties/roulettes/etc you had highlighted will be unselected. Thus allowing you to select what you need to run now, and be on your way.
